1. Now £60 posted For sale is this new and unused Hipshot bridge. I think this is the one that can be ued as a direct replacement for the Fender items. Some quick research would indicate a price of c.£100 on line in the UK but less from the USA so for sale at a very reasonable £60 posted UK mainland. Here's the website info:: http://store.hipshot...ct_detail&p=306
2. Thanks folks, some interesting options that were definitely not on the radar. Please keep them coming...
3. My well cared for and not much used GR1 for sale. I have original packaging etc. The pedal is in very good condition and is fully functional. £85 OVNO posted mainland UK. I'll sort some pictures out when I get home. In the meantime, plenty on line about these units, for example: http://www.effectsda...grooveregulator Thanks for looking. Great afternoon. Many thanks for the Graft Alan (see what I did there ACG lovers). Also to Steve Lawson for an inspirational afternoon. I have now decided that I'm going to have to practice a lot more or take up knitting
6. Thanks very much for the swift and easy purchase of my MB500 head. A pleasure doing business with you.
7. Sorry if I'm causing confusion. The two price thing was meant to be a "what you you recommend for £200 or less?" Plus "what would recommend if your budget was up to £750?" Hope that clears it up.
8.
New or secondhand?
New or used, not bothered really.
erm, less than £200?
I've seen a few nice looking Peavey and Yamaha basses for less than £200 or so.
9. Just wondering what the thoughts of the BC hive mind are on this. I've been increasingly thinking of something along these lines, whether a 'value' item or something within the budget. For my simple brain a 4-string or maybe a fiver.
10. I'd come along although based out in Lancs.
11. Oh man, I'm driving right past Halesowen tomorrow
12. A bit left field maybe, but these older Spectors are pretty good. I have had a 4-string version and they were made at the time when Spector were having issues with a partner in the USA so were made in Korea under the SSD name. Very like the full US spec basses so excellent vfm (imho). 13.
Don't you mean wiring circuit "person" , another sexist thread on BC I've got 3 of his wiring looms , totally spot on bits of kit. , highly recommended
I've had a couple too. Top banana.

A very big thank you to Si who recently stepped into the breach and lent me his amp for a week whilst I was waiting for mine to be delivered. Massively appreciated, a top bloke.
15.
Had a great time but totally failed to say hello to any BCers except Eude, ead, MoJoKe and Skelf, sorry everyone!
Good to meet you too, and a bunch of other folks. I did find it quite loud, eventually giving in an sticking the ERCin. Not sure how anybody going there to try amps out could have made an informed decision (or basses for that matter unless headphones were supplied - thanks Skelf, loved the new ACG Standards now I've seen them in the flesh.
16. Bought a GB Streamline 600 from John. Exactly as described, plenty of PMs, posted promptly and securely. What more can I say, honest and valued BCer. Thanks very much.
17. Guys thanks again for the generous offers. A fellow Chorley resident has made me a very kind offer so I'll take that up. I really appreciate all the kind support, what a great community this is.
18. Great stuff, congratulations. I will admit to having had a quiet noodle at the last MBB and loved the bass.
19. Guys, I am genuinely overwhelmed. I really appreciate all the offers, let me work out a couple of things with the band and then I gladly accept one of the very generous offers.
20. Due to a cock up by me on timing may I prevail upon the goodness of the BC community to load me an amp head or a small combo for band practice o this coming Monday. I'm in the PR6 postcode area and would of course be happy to pick up and return said item to you. Thanks in advance
21. I notice a few popping up in the F/S section occasionally but I've never seen one in the flesh.
22.
That looks really nice. In fact all the burst colours look good. Mantra: I need a new amp, I don't need a new bass. I need a new amp, I don't need a new bass
You really need both I woiuld think.
23. Have we got that kind of equipment to hand?
