1. Mathematically wouldn't a zero radius object just be a point? Flat definitely works best for me as a description.
2. OK, I'm playing. At the time of writing these were all unsold! Cab: GK Neo 212 cab £250 - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/252575-fs-gallien-krueger-neo-212-cab/ Amp: Markbass LM3 £350 - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/252561-markbass-little-mark-3/ Bass: Cort B4FL £300 - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/247990-fs-ft-cort-b4fl-fretless/page__p__2647823__hl__fretless__fromsearch__1#entry2647823 or maybe this Zoot FL5er £400 - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/251663-zoot-lined-fretless-5-stringer/page__p__2650463__hl__fretless__fromsearch__1#entry2650463 Simples.

ACG build

It's the EQ03 with the active/passive tone. It's the same as the one on my fretless bass which is why I opted for that rather than the newer DFM preamp - no learning curve

ACG build

Here we are, just awaiting final set up and then collection by yours truly.
5. Wow, so much opprobrium. Are people making you watch it gun to head? There's always the off button you know, or other channels.
6. In & out: Dingwall Combustion Dingwall AB1 4-string ACG Graft Finn 4 Sei Offset Flambuoyant 5 Fretless ACG Graft Recurve 5 Fretless Out: ACG Graft J Type 4 Learning points: Although I don't get on with fretted 5ers, fretless 5ers are definitely more for me - ACG FL 5er could well be ordered next year. Dingwalls are not for me. Any concerned citizens may be relieved to know that I have not lost the faith re ACGs; a couple of higher spec models are in build
7. Just acquired some strings from Roy. Everything as promised, quick postage and even a nice Christmas card - thanks very much. Deal in confidence dellow BCers.
8. Always been curious about these as I lusted after Rics, saving up to buy a 4003 in Jetglo (my dream bass) and then was massively disappointed. Didn't want to take the iron work off as that's part of the look and the less said about the bridge the better (YMMV of course). These basses seem to be the answer to most of my Ric issues. Karl can I come round and stroke it gently (that's the bass btw, not your genitalia).
9. Signed (I think) firewall at work a bit over excited. Will check back later at home.
10.
Just finished one which will be about the 5th one in total. http://basschat.co.u...-type-5-string/
This, plus some of them have a 4-way pickup switch in front of the electronics so you can have either p/up soloed, both parallel or both series. I bet that last option is pretty awesome.
11. David just acquired an ACG bass from me. Very easy to deal with and a great bloke to boot. Many thanks, deal with confidence BCers.
12. You could use an escrow service, but as always caveat emptor.
13.
" Ya sexy wee bastard " extra points if you can name the film!
Isn't that the quote from the "something something Axe Murderer" film? Sorry can't remember the title now.
14. Lovely bass there Mr Eude. Is it any good for metal?

Moffat Bass Bash 8

Booked in with Mrs ead so, fellow BCers, remember tour rules apply at all times.
18. This isn't luminescent, but maybe it could be done as part of the same process? http://www.acguitars.co.uk/acg_admin/wordpress/portfolio/0157u-uber-art-recurve-4/
19.
I think BRX and myself agree that you are not shallow for daring to have 'a hint of aesthetics'.
excellent, thanks.
20.
I don't think that wanting to have an instrument that you find aesthetically pleasing makes you shallow. On the contrary it makes you a more complete human being. It's those who don't get it or don't care about looks who have something wrong with them.

Actually, a lack of aesthetics is shallow.
I'm confused now; am I shallow or not? I think I should be told
21. Spector do customer service like it should be done. Respect.
22. In the context of playing in a band environment I genuinely can't tell the difference. My choices are based on personal preference and a hint of aesthetics (because I'm really shallow).
