1. JFDI, I have a few fretless basses and it's a different dimenion completely to bass playing. The black ACG f/s in my sig is being replaced by the 5er.... 3. I had an MIJ Jazz fretless that had been fitted with with Wizard 84s by the previous owner. I always thought that they sounded very easy on the ear.
4. I generally look around and assume they are talking to somebody else.
5. Very much liked the groove of the band, still on the fence a bit about the vocals.
6. Tom bought my ACG Graft Finn. As has been said many times before Tom is a perfect gent and so very easy to deal with. A real pleaseure to meet you too, thanks again.
7. Alan might be able to swap the neck out for you if he has anything suitable. Worth asking the question.
8. Simply stunning, sorry to see this up f/s.
9. I too get massive and entirely unaccountable urges in this direction. Is there a cure or will I have to find something I can afford at some point

Just sold an ACG bass to Tom. What a gent, really easy to deal with and most helpful. Thanks so much Tom and enjoy the bass....all those extra knobs...
11. You could probably buy 3 or 4 very special custom basses for that kind of money.
12. Eye-catching bargain for a bass of this quality imho.
13.
I've just seen it - yup, it's dull, despite the somewhat breathless description: "...a grain pattern so intense it is reminiscent of the sand storms on the surface of Jupiter..." Really? Heheheheeeeee....
Does Jupiter have a surface with sand on it? I think we should be told.
Probably not what you looking for but I've only got a Fender classic 60 jazz with upgraded pickup to offer.
You're right, I'm afraid not really my cup of tea.

16. I don't have a problem with it per se. I find it odd that it got 8/10 on the value for money though. I'd be interested to know how BGM determine what the appropriate score for that is as, per above, some folks will find £11k less of an issue than the other 99% of people. When you look at some of the £1,000 to £1,500 basses that have have been reviewed by BGM and received the same VFM score (I know that price point is a bit down market for the mag) why is this particular bass 11 times better?

25.
I see many comments about Joe Bonamassa being uninspiring and just a generic blues showman with no real talent. It shows that you can`t please people.I think he is great. I know he is no Gary Moore, Alvin Lee, etc, etc, but so what, it doesn`t matter as those two are sadly no longer with us. It is good to have someone still out there selling big venues out. That is the problem with blues, everyone wants to compare everyone. Blue, glad Chantel replied to you. I have only seen her once, and she seems real down to earth.
I think JB is a talented guitarist. I took the kids to see one of his shows before his popularity exploded and they were both blown away. More recently I went to see him again (maybe 2 years ago) and the show seems to have turned into a 'look how many guitars I own' fest. He can still play a bit though!
