Just acquired a lovely Maruszczyk from Ryan. Great bloke to deal with, excellent comms and a lovely bass. Given plenty of time to try the bass out with no pressure and a nice coffee to boot. Deal in confidence folks.

Currently have two Limelights, both excellent, both exactly what I asked for down to the different neck treatment I prefer. One was a 'normal' style that LL do; the other was (still is maybe) unique. The only Limelight with a one-piece Alder body. Both comfortably within 12 weeks. Hardware relicing is much different now to the early examples and you can ask for what you like too. I requested very lightly aged hardware which is exactly what I received. All the screws are fine and turn without any difficulty. I'd have another tomorrow.

Nice, who makes these basses?
-
Geeks, so much better. CTTE is the first LP I ever bought and it still gets a lot of play at ead towers. I still wonder how you ever go about rehearsing that song from scratch. New Yes, very lame and I'm a massive fan of the band and have lost count of how many gigs I've been to over the years.
-
A return to Ash towers occurred last night, necessitated by the need to hand over my SB14 to Ash in exchange for some bass vouchers. Why not a P you ask, and indeed this is a fair question. I can only assume that the impact of Ash's current much diminished P bass stock had adversely affected his judgement. I understand therapy is now happening and that normal service will resume in due course. It was, as ever, a completely painless and excellent transaction.

Has anybody seen this ACG fretless bass by any chance please?

Bumping just in case... -
Pretty much the first thing I did. What is weird is that in the past I've had quite a few things from BD and have exchanged emails (and phone calls) with Mark using the exact same email address as the order acknowledgements apparently come from so the address is known to be a trusted source to my email account.
-
Still heard nothing a further 29 hours later. I've had a read of the posts saying just phone which is fine if someone picks up, however I have a busy working life so I can't spend hours waiting. I'd also point out that I'm the customer so why is it my problem. If you can't support the service then surely just don't offer it.
-
Of course it is, silly me. Rookie error right there.
-
I bought a bass and paid for it this morning via the website. 14 hours later I am yet to receive even an order acknowledgement email which is disappointing to say the least.
-
Excellent score. Key missing fact; which of the two has more heft?
-
+1 to most of the above, Will is a top bloke.

When I first registered on the forum in 1853 I had no idea of the subsequent importance of a forum alias so just my initials.

Any time that I opened a link it just opened a new tab.

I've spent a bit of time on the configurator and decided to save a couple of designs for a potential purchase. I set up the account as requested (took ages to get the email link) and then tried to save the two options. I have no idea whether it worked and I can't actually see where they maybe saved in the first place. Not very inspiring and does rather put me off ordering anything to be honest. The website not too great either in terms of navigating and then logging out of and closing the many tabs that seem to open each session. Is this just me being a muppet?

Unfortunately I'm one of the OCD folks that clears it out every so often, so 2014 is long gone now. -

Thanks for checking this, he was the guy I tried, but I will try him again just in case. -

I sold it in May 2014 but I can't recollect who too. I had swapped out the passive electronics for an Audere 4-band EQ which is what you can see in the pics above compared to the pics on the ACG website. It was one of Alan's relatively early Graft series: https://acguitars.co.uk/project/g019-j-type-fretless-4/ What was special about it? It was just a great fretless bass and the one I played at the first gig I ever did with a fretless bass only. Sadly, I had to part with it as well as a few others during a period of unemployment. I pretty sure that I did contact the person I sold it to a few years later when I had the means to buy it back again but it had already moved on again since then.
