    N(ish)BD!

Not at all, looks spot on for what you do. That style is not my normal playground but each to their own. Great job.
  2. Said a man with a Dolphin in his avatar Just kidding each to his own. As to electronics, well I would contend that the low pass filter that most passive basses have is indeed electronics not wires.
  3. I dunno, I rather like it. I guess that if they had put a 2 over 2 h/stock there would an equal number of howls of protest that they'd just ripped off another design. Each to their own I guess
  4. Standard car park meet up to exchange cash for a fretless bass in a totally painless transaction punctuated by excellent comms. Good chat and always a pleasure to meet long-standing BCers.
  5. That is truly a work of art. Congratulations.
  6. Just acquired a pedalboard PSU from Dave. Very easy transaction, great comms, fast delivery etc. Deal in confidence folks.
  7. Just acquired a CD, arrived promptly with no fuss and excellent comms throughout. The perfect BC transaction.
  8. What is the weight of this please?
  9. Very nice looking passive VS4 at Bass Direct for a not too silly price. My trigger finger has been itching. https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Sandberg_VS4_Satin_Black.html
  10. An OBP-2 has just appeared for sale in the Accessories thread...
  11. I normally get a better price from Mark at Classic & Cool than the configurator produces.
  12. This is my old first gen VS4 passive. Sadly moved on now, but I keep a look out.....
  13. The Euro4 RST models I think have Aguilar Super Double p/ups and an OBP-2 and they sound very Spectory to me. Might be an option to consider?
  14. I'm hoping to go and check out Beaux Gris in Poynton in April to see what they are like live.
  15. Thanks, that seems to be the bit I was looking for.
  16. I looked on Amazon and couldn't see a way to buy it, where should I look?
  17. Very nice indeed. Would buy a copy were it for sale.
  18. Nice work. However I think that for the full Geddy P a Badass II or similar will be required.
  19. Could find an existing thread so have started one up. Just acquired a lovely ACG from Jason. Great transaction, very good comms and fast delivery. Highly recommended people, deal in confidence.
  20. Simple passive V/T set up on this Letts bass. IIRC this was slightly closer to the bridge than a P bass. I'd also like to hear what a Sandberg Central would sound like in fretless form. It's a bit like a Stingray but the pickup is more towards the neck.
  21. Paul just acquired some strings from me. Pretty much the perfect transaction, great comms & quick payment. Much appreciated and thanks again.
  22. That's quite a niche comparison. I've owned a VM and a Darkhawk (a bit like a VM2) and TT4s so not quite the same. Current 'stock is a TT4 and a Central which are more than welcome to come and try if you like to compare to your bass. I see you're Cumbria but that's a large footprint. I'm in Chorley (near Preston).
  23. Just acquired a pickup from S'manth. The perfect transaction, deal in confidence folks.
