Of course it is, silly me. Rookie error right there.

I bought a bass and paid for it this morning via the website. 14 hours later I am yet to receive even an order acknowledgement email which is disappointing to say the least.

Excellent score. Key missing fact; which of the two has more heft?

+1 to most of the above, Will is a top bloke.

When I first registered on the forum in 1853 I had no idea of the subsequent importance of a forum alias so just my initials.

Any time that I opened a link it just opened a new tab.

I've spent a bit of time on the configurator and decided to save a couple of designs for a potential purchase. I set up the account as requested (took ages to get the email link) and then tried to save the two options. I have no idea whether it worked and I can't actually see where they maybe saved in the first place. Not very inspiring and does rather put me off ordering anything to be honest. The website not too great either in terms of navigating and then logging out of and closing the many tabs that seem to open each session. Is this just me being a muppet?

Mine seems to work fine? -
Has anybody seen this ACG fretless bass by any chance please?

Unfortunately I'm one of the OCD folks that clears it out every so often, so 2014 is long gone now. -

Thanks for checking this, he was the guy I tried, but I will try him again just in case. -

I sold it in May 2014 but I can't recollect who too. I had swapped out the passive electronics for an Audere 4-band EQ which is what you can see in the pics above compared to the pics on the ACG website. It was one of Alan's relatively early Graft series: https://acguitars.co.uk/project/g019-j-type-fretless-4/ What was special about it? It was just a great fretless bass and the one I played at the first gig I ever did with a fretless bass only. Sadly, I had to part with it as well as a few others during a period of unemployment. I pretty sure that I did contact the person I sold it to a few years later when I had the means to buy it back again but it had already moved on again since then. -
Just been to see the show at The Met in Bury and had a great. Highly recommended if you liked the Paul Simon album.

I seem to have settled around the £500 to £600 for a workhorse gigging bass. Lots of choice in this bracket and just seems to work for me. I have a couple of expensive ones for my own pleasure mostly.

Indeed. We are already in touch thanks.

Someone on here has asked for a few of the items which is great. List amended accordigly.

Nobody has mentioned All Right Now yet, amazing. I left my last covers band because a goodly number of tunes already listed (and ARN) were on the set list. Mostly in a decent originals band but I do play in a covers band occasionally with a female singer so doing more interesting tunes now. Also fair to say that one man's meat is another man's poison. We will never all like the same things, which is good.

One for me please. I do feel Carol Kaye is an omission though. -
Hi folks Apologies if this is in the wrong place. My father-in-law has just gone into a care home as he's knocking on a bit and just needs the extra support. He's asked me to clear out his shed where he had a bunch of tools that I thought may be of use to someone here. The most relevant ones I think are: Black & Decker DN31B Jig Saw Black & Decker BD713 Planer Black & Decker BD227C Circular Saw Rally Electric Orbital Sander (SKU 973048) Wickes Planer (SKU 505096) B&Q 1/3 Sheet Sander UB135W55A There is also a pillar drill but I need to recover that on the next trip over. Is this lot of interest to anybody? If so please PM me and we can see what can be sorted out. Many thanks

Beautiful, I have a couple of Alan's fretless basses. Both outstanding.

Not certain that I'd classify some of the above as rock bands tbh. Love The Tubes - saw them in 70s in Southampton.
