1. Just sold Phil an ODB-3 pedal. Excellent comms, quick payment, very easy transaction. Thanks again Phil.
2. For the 50% of us who enjoy Rush here's a link to a track from the forthcoming CD. Check the bass on this, how does he do that and sing simulataneously http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcFGrWjOX0E
3. Sold to h8dabass. Thanks to everybody else who PMed me for their interest.
4. Lee has just acquired my Audere pre amp. Very easy to deal with, good comms, easy exchange overall top banana. Would be more than happy to recommend him to y'all.
5. Well thanks, good to hear from you! I hope you're prospering too! It's a cracking little amp and the Z mode switch is pretty cool. With everything set flat it's remarkably like a passive bass...Happy to consider offers too!
6. Bump for a small price adjustment
7. For sale is an JZ3 Audere on-board preamp. It has the most popular 3-band EQ option and the Z mode switch all mounted on a Jazz plate that fits straight onto existing Jazz basses. Here's the link to the Audere website. It comes with its original box, installation instructions and packaging plus the spare unused crimp and heat shrink for the earth connections. All the terminals are screw type so no soldering is required. Thanks for looking.
8. I'm selling my Boss ODB-3 pedal. It has led a very sheltered life living in my Boss pedal board/case and is going to make way for a new purchase as Mrs ead has a strict 'one-in-one-out' policy that apparently applies to effects as well as basses. I can absolutely guarantee that no fluids have been spilt on it It's in excellent condition as the pictures show. There is one tiny chip that I hope shows up, other than that it is pretty much like new. The original box is in excellent condition and includes the original manual etc. If you'd like more pics of any aspect please just ask. Thanks for looking!

10. Just acquired an Aguilar TLC from Mick. Great to deal with, very smooth transaction and plenty of messages etc. Item exactly as described. Highly recommended.
11. Just sold my Hartke Bass Attack to Jon. Excellent comms throughout, quick payment. Seems to be a very dependable person. Enjoy the pedal, I hope it does the job for you.

We're back...

Brilliant work, thanks very much to all the techies who understand this stuff. It's a black art to me although I can do RPN on on old style HP calculator! p.s. I'm liking the CTRL F5 thing, must try to remember that one.
13. Sold pending the usual heads of agreement, searches and contracts.
14. This pedal is for sale as it gets very little use as I now DI out the back of my amp if I need to. Hopefully the images show the great condition of the pedal. The original packaging is in pretty good shape and the original instruction manual is also included. If you require any further pictures of any specific details please just ask. I will also answer any questions you have as fully as my knowledge lets me. I'm looking for £55 posted in the UK. Here are a few pictures:
15. I'm a subscriber and will continue to be one as for me there are are more pluses than minuses. Hoever like most commercial things the mag will stand or fall on it's sales and advertising revenue. If the circulation drops then advertisers will be less interested etc and the vicious circle begins. If the readership want change they should write to the editor in a constructive way and eventually, if there is a body of opinion, I'm sure changes would be made. I do think that there should be more reviews of basses people can actually afford and more "group tests". More fretless stuff too. I quite enjoy the few pages on bands that I've not hear of, the Barefaced column and the woodshop interviews. I'm actually less bothered about the bass establishment interviews as it seems to me not much new comes out each time.
16.
Are any other Contemporary J users having issuses with exceptoonally noisy actives (almost like something is breaking down) or is it just me.
Sorry to hear that. Not noticed this on my bass. The only issues I have found after about a year of use are that the frets on the G string side of the 'board were a teeny bit proud and the jack socket seems to prefer straight jack leads, my OBBM sourced right angled jack sometimes needs a little wiggle?
17. I fitted a P Retro to my MIM Precision, different bass for sure but plenty of room. Very impressive piece of kit, I particularly enjoyed the additional control over the mids.
18. Just fitted a JZ3 to my Fender fretless. Still noodling and fiddling with the settings but overall very impressed. Re the OP I've found that with the Z-mode switch to Low (pointing to the neck), and treble wound off a bit, mids neutral or backed off a bit and the balance about 30% towards the neck pickup delivers a pretty sweet and smooth tone. Maybe the fretlessness and flats helps though...Not where I'll be leaving it but one of the things I tried out.
19. Yeah, like the Canterbury scene alot.
20. Here are a couple of bikes that the kids have grown out of. I did try to part exchange them against a new bike, but despite being in decent condition (our kids are in love with cars and they were only ridden on the odd occasion when we were able to drag the kids out in the summer), the shop really wasn't keen as they are around 4 to 5 years old. Both need a service and possible new inner tubes, but other than that I think they're fine. If you would like one or both of them FOC please feel free to PM me. Collection from Chorley, or can meet up as long as it's not too far away. Here's one And the other If you'd like more pics or more details please just ask!
21. Very nice looking bass in the makiing. Keep the pics coming...
22. There's a set of Wizard 84s on my f/l Jazz that are really rather nice, but not sure how to describe the tone. A bit darker maybe, definitely higher output.
