Just purchased a bass from Ander. Top bloke and went out of his way to make the exchange a bit easier for me; many thanks.
Deal in full confidence fellow BCers.
I imagine there would need to be absolute consistency in intonation for each bass as if you're hitting the harmonic at 12th (other harmonics are available) fret and the bass isn't intoned properly it will sound less clear.
I mostly gig with a Genz Benz Streamliner 600 and a Barefaced Two10s. I have a Barefaced Big Baby and an 800W Epifani amp for the rare occasion when we don't take the bass bins. Both light and easily transportable with great tones.
The huge amount of positive feedback clearly reflects that Greg is indeed a Top Banana. Greg has just bought a pickup from me and it was a totally seamless transaction from start to finish. Many thanks Greg.
I suspect you are right on that. I had a brief go on a Fodera a few years ago and was left with much the same impressions as you. It was probs lost on me anyway as I'm not the world's most talented bassist
Nothing at all, and I'm sure Foderas are also extemely nice bits of kit. It just struck me that given the relatively small numbers around, compared to say Fenders, that this was a bit unusual. As I said, just not my bag.
Not 100 clear if you're asking us to vote for the one you should keep (what I have assumed) or the opposite. Two reasons:
Can't imaging you keeping a Fender over a Yamaha
Not mad keen on binding
