  1. Just purchased a bass from Ander. Top bloke and went out of his way to make the exchange a bit easier for me; many thanks. Deal in full confidence fellow BCers.
  2. Mine was a black Squier Affinity P bass. It was subsequently donated to a friend's son to learn on as I moved onto a preloved Spector Legend:
  3. I thought gaslighting involved passing wind near a naked flame?
  4. Having just order a new (and quite different Limelight) I never even made the starting blocks.
  5. I imagine there would need to be absolute consistency in intonation for each bass as if you're hitting the harmonic at 12th (other harmonics are available) fret and the bass isn't intoned properly it will sound less clear.
  6. This just turned up in the F/S section. Ash is a good guy.
  7. Why bother with all the stress of it and the somewhat inevitable conclusion
  8. Sorry, not getting you there. I did say 'lined' in my post?
  9. @mustafunk1 was looking for a lined fretless bass.
  10. I mostly gig with a Genz Benz Streamliner 600 and a Barefaced Two10s. I have a Barefaced Big Baby and an 800W Epifani amp for the rare occasion when we don't take the bass bins. Both light and easily transportable with great tones.
  11. I think Sandberg normally fit steels 40-100 unless you ask them for something different.

    Shaggy's feedback

The huge amount of positive feedback clearly reflects that Greg is indeed a Top Banana. Greg has just bought a pickup from me and it was a totally seamless transaction from start to finish. Many thanks Greg.
  13. In my case more of a blessing I think.
  14. I suspect you are right on that. I had a brief go on a Fodera a few years ago and was left with much the same impressions as you. It was probs lost on me anyway as I'm not the world's most talented bassist
  15. Nothing at all, and I'm sure Foderas are also extemely nice bits of kit. It just struck me that given the relatively small numbers around, compared to say Fenders, that this was a bit unusual. As I said, just not my bag.
  16. I'd force myself to acquire 2 or 3 new ACGs for that amount of cash.
  17. Marketing opportunity surely missed here for a Fodera Fedora?
  18. Not my bag in particular, but can't help but notice them. That is all.
  19. Not 100 clear if you're asking us to vote for the one you should keep (what I have assumed) or the opposite. Two reasons: Can't imaging you keeping a Fender over a Yamaha Not mad keen on binding
