  1. Cheers @Reggaebass I will do my best! Here's a few blues-type combos plus a few miscellaneous artists for your delectation: Cream Joanne Shaw Taylor The Blues Band King King Bad Company P-A-U-L Aynsley Lister Martin Barre Caro Emerald KT Tunstall
  2. Just splashed out on the Ashdown unit as my ancient Tascam MP-BT1 Bass Trainer, whilst still going strong, may fall over at some point
  3. Magnum looks slightly out of context
  4. Are we allowed more than one guess?
  5. Jack Bruce
  6. Lynyrd Skyryd?
  7. I would echo that, just don't notice the difference. I have a selection of ACGs and they are marvellous basses.
  8. Rats, thought that looked slightly suspicious
  9. Lovely looking bass.
  10. I'm calling you out with Aswad.
  11. Correct! Like a chuffin' idiot I turned down a ticket for the first series of concerts way back when (I was under the influence of a rather nice young Italian lady I was seeing at the time).
  12. 'fraid not. Blackpool and Manchester Academy.
  13. They were actually at Knebworth on the bill with Led Zep. But got back into them much more recently up here.
  14. Wembly, supported by J Geils Band and Black Uhuru.
  15. Sorry no, Manchester MEN Arena a few year ago.
  16. Saw them at Knebworth, last show.
  17. Nice one. Should I have a go? Genesis Pink Floyd Led Zeppelin Yes Porcupine Tree David Bowie The Rolling Stones Joe Bonamassa Paul McCartney Fairport Convention
  18. NFN as they say (from the Preston area)
  19. ...played at twice the speed (good for metal).
  20. What if you come a family rife with in-breeding and actually have 6 fingers on each hand?
  21. I think Norman Wisdom is meant to deceive so I'm voting for Jeff Berlin if only because I don't recalling him touring as a named artist.
  22. Looking forward to seeing the build thread on this, or hoping there will be at least some updates failing that!
  23. @Muppet can I enquire whether the volume control on the Tone Pocket only controls the bass level? i.e. do you control the input from, say, your iPod from the unit itself?
  24. Just seen the Tone Pocket on Reverb for £139 inc.P&P (direct from Ashdown it would appear).
  25. I believe so. Can't quite see the s/n on your lovely bass, but mine was an M same as the OP's with a lower number so probably built around the same time if slightly earlier.
