  1. With you there. When I bough my '66 I deliberately sought a bass that had been played not left in a cupboard.
  2. Beautiful, but I would have to change the pickguard.

    Your Go To Bass

We share very similar tastes in foam mutes.
  4. Motown
  5. Thanks. I don't have the full spec for this one, but the current std. spec. for the Crusher Elite is 24" radius which looks reasonable for this bass when comparing it to other basses I own.
  6. Got round to taking my own pics:
  7. Not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed now
  8. Is you partner called Sue?
  9. p.s. I also used Barefaced cabs. I have a Supper Compact and a Big Baby T.
  10. Maybe we're lost lost brothers as I have no idea about my blood relations. It does proove that we share immaculate good taste however.
  11. Goodness, they make my eyes water! My pedal board pales into insignifcance containing as it does a Radial Bigshot I/O to let me use two basses with differing output levels without the need to keep tweaking amp settings with a tuner into the Bigshot; then a Root Effects Herrenchor pedal (chorus) for use with a fretless bass; then a Digitech Drop tuning pedal for instant Eb or lower tunings; a Micro Thumpinator and finally a Radial StageBug SB-2 passive DI. Oh, and the bass has landed
  12. I can lend you our guitarist who seems to play ahead of the beat quite often.
  13. Currently listening to the new IQ double CD and the new Opeth offering. Mucho enjoyment for prog fans (at least).
  14. That redefines roadworn.
  15. Sorry may have inadvertently misled the team there. The bass is in a warehouse in the West Midlands, I live up in the Northwest. My personal provenance is confusing as I was born in Brussels and adopted at a very young age. My Dad was a Scouser and my Mum a Geordie. This probably explains a lot
  16. Now made it across Europe and is somewhere in the West Midlands.. Sneak preview
  17. Not a Fender but an ACG P Type My '66 Fender P. With due apologies to all those averse to 3TB & tort
  18. I'm liking this concept as I'm no longer in my prime and have received many blows to the head from 25 years of rugby and 34 years of marriage. Moot point as to which caused the most damage
  19. If you look on various courier websites they are giving guidance on deliveries. Most are saying the delivery methods will change in terms of social distancing and therefore the recipient no longer signing for the delivery etc.
  20. I don't have a problem with Sir Bob, but Piers on the other hand...
  21. Just to tempt fellow suffers... https://guitarvillage.co.uk/categories/guitars/bass-guitars
  22. Some exceptional bargains here: https://guitarvillage.co.uk/categories/guitars/bass-guitars/music-man Very tempted myself tbh and I have a complicated relationship with the Stingray genre.
  23. This from ACG
  24. Of course you do.
