If you look on various courier websites they are giving guidance on deliveries. Most are saying the delivery methods will change in terms of social distancing and therefore the recipient no longer signing for the delivery etc.

This is a great thread, beauty will clearly be in the eye of the beholder but so what Just checking, but is posting a bass you own/have owned crass?

It's a contractual thing surely and de-risks it for the seller. i.e. if the contract with the courier rests between buyer and courier then any issues have to be resolved with the same two parties. I don't think it's laziness just pragmatism (plus a bit of self interest). I'm with @musicbassman on this in that whether buying or selling I'd rather invest in time to collect/deliver if at all possible.

All I can say is that I have a couple of beauties from ACG that are well above my pay grade.

Some cool stuff, as well as some things I'm less keen on. But in a world of endless Fender clones shouldn't we celebrate diversity just a little bit?

If you like D'Addarios then I would advocate for EXL170BTs, a balanced tension nickel wound set. I have these on all my fretted basses and am a real fan of both the feel and the sound.

I was googling this very thing this morning as I have a shipment incoming from foreign parts. Everything seems to be OK atm except that drivers will now do contactless deliveries and sign whilst you watch and leave goods for you to take into the house.

We have a booking for a private party in a couple of weeks time. I guess we'll soon know the decision from the client side. On balance I think the four of would do the gig; we're having practice tonight so maybe we'll discuss.

Plenty of options here. Aside from my '66 Precision, the P bass that I gig regularly is the Highway One iteration. I've has a few different versions over the years (Squier Affinity, MIM, MIJ, Nate Mendel, American Special, American Standard) but this one seems to be sticking. Hard to say why particularly but the neck is great, the weight is very comfortable and I must be one of the only people in the world who quite likes the Grease Bucket tone circuit. Obligatory pic.:
