  1. The last three or four basses I have sold have been on ebay. I have mostly got more for them than they were advertised on here even after fees. I just wait for the £1 selling fees offers to come around.

    Got wood?

Good man. I'll apply myself to the challenge presently.

    Got wood?

I suddenly feel like I need more toys
  4. Has anyone come across this luthier yet, I saw their stand at a recent guitar show at Haydock Park race course here in the northwest a week or so back. Unfortunately the stand was unmanned when I drfited past so didn't feel that I should pick one up for a noodle without somebody's say so. There is another Watson bass thread on here but it refers to a Scottish guy that re-located to California so I don't think it's the same person. https://www.watsonbasses.co.uk/
  5. I imagine that you're going to tell that you already have the dream J so a trade is unlikely
  6. Ooh, that's one I commissioned a while back, I wondered where it had got to. I'd buy it back in a flash if I had spare readies.

    Got wood?

I've a few of these in stock
  8. As an old git, it's hat for me I would also gently point out that as somebody who has toured europe with a reputable orchestra I would also consider myself to be a musician not a "musician".
  9. Almost anything I've sold or traded is bound to increase in value
  10. Hi folks For sale are a brand new, unopened set of D'Addario NYXL bass strings. Gauges are 45/65/85/105. These are around £27 in shops so grab yourself a bargain. £20 posted UK mainland. Thanks for looking.
  11. Of the ones that I have tried I would say my fav is the Nordy NP4.
  12. Looks a bit like those all Rosewood necks from Musicman.
  13. Thanks for that. Looks like a pretty std Spector locking bridge which I got used to over time. Just checking you know to loosen the hex nuts to and bottom before adjusting as that makes it a whole lot easier? Didn't realise that the string spacing on these was narrower as I like my 19mm for my large hands / fingers. Still want to find one to try out though.
  14. Interested to hear more of your views on this as never really seen one in the flesh and I'm deffo in the Spector club.
  15. "Fender announce new Roadworn & Refinished Series P & J basses."
  16. For sale is this rather lovely, yet surplus to requirements jazz bass pickguard. Not sure of the manufacturer or even how to describe it colour-wise. It is very striking though. £18 posted to UK mainland.
  17. Not exactly, but it was around 7.5 lbs deffo less than 8lbs. Very comfy indeed.
  18. Thankfully all this new fangled LPs and CDs and apparently even videos exist. Who knew it would be so easy to appreciate older bands?
  19. For some reason I never really 'got' the Stone Roses, I must persist I guess.
  20. I commissioned this one originally. It's a really nice bass and I regret having to sell it (had to raise some cash for a personal thing).
