    I just received a second hand BQ500 head. No chance of trying it at stage volume at the moment. The fan doesnt come in when cold. is this right? My Ashdown one is on all the time.

    My gigging amp died and I need a new one quick. Dont need mega power, we DI. A mate is selling a mint Eden WTX264 head cheap, but I can get an Ashdown 5 fifteen BBH head new for pocket money. Way to go?

    I already have plenty of active basses and would like to boost my American Standard Jazz, whilst keeping the 3 knob plate and hopefully, not enlarging the cavity.I dont mind stacked controls and pull pots. Does anybody have practical experience with this and did it work?

    Well I can live without the compound neck and the pickups on my Deluxe are fine, as is the 18 volt pre amp.Think I need more persuading before I shell out twice the price of a mint Deluxe!
