It wouldn’t even have to do that really. We’ve got a concert set up in Mainstage, all I need the pedal to do is scroll one setting at a time down the set list. All the patch changes are configured in order already. I presume either pedal is capable of this.

Disaster area looks perfect- but I can only find Andertons who stock it, at the end of the month. Tech 21 probably more than we need but will have to be the one. I really appreciate your help, many thanks. Harry

Right, the keyboard has midi. Just a turbo quick google reveals a bewildering array of options. We need one or two switches for preset up and down. Any ideas please?

I'm just using usb-b to usb-c cable from the keyboard to the computer, then it's headphone out to the DI box/desk.

Thank you gentlemen, they both look like great pieces of kit- but our keyboardist would probably struggle with multi-button solutions. Plus I'm almost as much of a luddite as she is....

My apologies if this is in the wrong place but it’s vaguely pedal related. After much badgering I’ve finally managed to get our keyboardist to adopt Mainstage. However patch changes are tricky as she doesn’t like doing it by hand. Her keyboard is pretty naff (hence using the app)- I can hook up to it using usb but there’s not an input for the usual Boss unlatching pedal. Are there any usb or even better Bluetooth pedals that would be suitable please? many thanks Harry

He should have tried 56. Lots of people say you can’t hear the difference but I can definitely feel it, I watched two YouTube videos on it and have consequently formed my whole belief system around it.

Best gig played- local theatre fundraiser- home crowd, up for a laugh, stage crew give us amazing lights and sound. Worst gig- an am dram show for a week. Leaden drummer, bizarre home written script, late finish every night. Best gig attended. Tedeschi Trucks in April. More music in 5 minutes onstage than I'll manage in 50 years- that man is a channel to a different dimension and the band ain't bad either. Worst gig- Great band in Monmouth, just an ice pick telecaster guitar sound.

Funny this should come up now as i was thinking the revolution will be live streamed the other day. Except in this country where we just roll over and take it by the looks of things.

Best bass purchase- db Cabs elbee 10- pocket sized 110, 7 kg, perfect for pit work. Also ran- Nordstrand mute- yes silly money for the actual item but the time I'd bought the parts, tools and acquired the dexterity skills to make a similar device a moot point. Worst, well not worst but most unused. UA Apollo Twin- superb piece of kit, only had chance to plug it in for half an hour as day job/ night jobs are mental.

Don’t mind the head, but the cabs come under my self imposed rule ‘looks like a Halfords knock off’. The head looks right up my street but I’m not sure the gains over my current LMT500 are big enough, especially with the low second hand value, despite it being excellent.

Just a quick update on the Elbee 10. Carried all the kit from the car, bass, acoustic guitar, cab, accessory bag, amp bag and pedalboard to the pit in one go. My volume on the amp settled around it’s typical position for my DB112. Sound is really clear and the sire with new strings sounded great. There are some differences off axis and the very lowest notes, sub bottom E don’t have the outright thwack of the other cabs but all in all, an absolute bargain and just the solution I, and my bank balance, was looking for. Thank you krispn for the heads up.

Thank you, so far so good. Managed an hours practise yesterday with the neighbours out, great fun with the sire, trying out different tones. Dress rehearsal for a show tonight, elbee vs drummer round 1.

Know what you mean about rat fur cabs, although i dislike cabs that look like they fell out of an 80s boy racer's boot more. The elbee 10, just, stays the right side of this. Its got a busy breaking in period, 12 calls in 14 days, starts tonight. Really looking forward to it.

It's arrived. Yes, the logo looks like a male bird plus spherical play object, it only makes me like it more. I've only given it a 10 minute run out as my neighbours were kind enough to receive it after DPD wouldn't send it to one of their designated drop off points. Its a semi detached so trying to find the point the cab farts out on a low b seems a bit ungrateful. First thoughts though. I wanted a cab that would be small and light for rehearsals and pit work. My long serving Aggie db112s have a surprisingly large footprint and some of the spaces pit musicians have to play in can be very tight. This will be perfect, it must be one of the cabs where a mark size head is in danger of overhang. It's stupidly light and opening doors etc whilst laden with kit should be much easier. Tonally, I wasn't expecting it to challenge the Aggies and it won't, they'll be staying in the meantime for function band work and festivals. It can make the ceiling shake easy enough, more like decent low low mids than full fat bass but I DI for most theatres and the foh will do the heavy lifting. Flats on the lb100 needed a bit eq experimentation, I suspect that's my ears needing to adjust. The cab seems more suited to the sire v7, which is good news as that's what I'll be using 90% of the time. I'll have a better idea of the cabs capabilities after next week, I've a show for a week, where it'll be up against the most leaden drummer so a decent run out for its first test. Harry
