1. Cheers, how much did he charge if you don't mind me asking?
2.
proud to be the new owner.
enjoy!
3.
I love the sounds of so many basses until they are in my hands, at that point they sound wrong as they`re not Fender Precisions. Doesn`t stop me buying and selling lots of those though.
I know that feeling mate!
4.
I still have a lot of GAS to burn off before I get to Clarky72's position
I'm sure I'll see something soon and GAS will overrule my better judgement and I'll have another bass to put in BC marketplace! edit. awful typing!
5. It's happened to me after a spectacular run of buying some beautiful basses and them leaving as quickly as they've arrived. Over the last couple of years I've had Spector, Kubicki, Aria, Ibanez, and probably a few I can't remember at the moment and none have matched up to my jazz basses. The time has come to realise if it's not a Jazz bass or an assorted clone or something very Fender-ish then it probably isn't going to work for me. Anyone else come to that point of trying and getting rid of? That said I'm only human, so I still have GAS, but only for more Jazzes, a Sadowsky and a Yamaha BB2024X, nothing shockingly non-Fender-ish there...
6. Arghh! I've had Slo Special gas for a while... must resist... bump!
7. swoon.... that is a beauty!!!
8. Thanks for this, but I just cant find anyone making a 3U case though?
9. Does anyone know if anyone other than Carvin make something like this? http://www.carvinworld.com/products/single.php?product=SV2&cid=59 I'm looking for a 3U sleeve for an amp head rather than a regular rack case. Cheers
10. Nothing sounds this good. Every gig I get closer to keeping it. Now trying to make it as light as possible by ditching everything else from the rack case and getting a 3U case rather than a 6U...
11. Real shame... who will love this beauty? She needs a good home!
12. It is a beautiful sounding bass, looks stunning.
13. I'd recommend you buy my GK2001RB, killer sound, gorgeous amp, massive tonal variety, not so sure about the lightweight bit, but hey, you can't always have everything! ;-)
14. Listen to Cetera. If anyone here knows their Spectors, its him!
15. Change of heart, I couldn't put it on EvilBay so it's still here and for sale....
16. Just completed a great trade with Mike. A pleasure to deal with, thoroughly nice guy, and bass was in exactly the condition described to me, couldn't be happier. Many thanks mate and enjoy the Spector!
17. He must have changed his opinion about them, he wasn't very pro-relic last year when I did a build course with him. Anything he turns his hand to will be carefully thought out, and will no doubt look stunning though so I'm sure you'll get a real beauty!! Make sure you post pics when you take delivery of it!
18. Oh yeah that is nice. If you're looking at a 4x10, have you looked at Barefaced? My Super 12 (2x12) is incredibly powerful, and light. Shame it's not easy for us to meet up and try each other's basses out... Awesome xmas thanks dude!
19. How about a Spector?
20. Is there a Warmoth equivalent in the UK at all other than Sims really? There's some great looking Warmoth parts and options but with tax and shipping it makes the parts very expensive to get over here. I've found the likes of WD Music, Guitarbuild, and some others, but no idea if they're any good really. Thx
