1. I have found a replacement now... thanks all
2. Don't do it... I'll never sell mine. You'll be hard pushed to ever find one of these again!!
3. Duff recently posted an updated prototype on his IG feed.
4. Anyone own this 1980 Aria SB700? Sold it, trying to find it.... :(

Fancy a SB-R80?

5. It would be lovely to get my old one back purely because it was in such pristine condition, and with the original case too. If I couldn't find it again then another would suffice. You're wise not selling yours, I knew it was wrong as soon as Ben walked out the door with it.... I might give Cool & Classic a call and see if they have contact details for the buyer, its worth a shot.
6. Mods - if this isn't allowed here, please say. I used to own a 1980 Aria SB700, sold it to Cosmo on here (regretted almost immediately), and then he sold it to Cool & Classic Guitars. They sold it on, and there the thread ran dry. Did you buy it? Its in the pic below. If you did, I'd love to get it back if you ever feel like selling it. Do you know the person that bought it? Any help tracing would be amazing...
7. Absolutely stunning...
8. They are great. I have a feeling it might be a sale that I later regret!!
9. Weekend bump for some Ampeg love!
10.
The TM basses have a coil split switch for the humbucker dude, so you can get that thinner, traditional jazz bass sound if you want. Fwiw, I think it sounds much better with the humbucker at the bridge.
That's good to know, thanks!!
11. So while I'm surrounded by Sandberg fans.... TM4 / TT4. Anyone tried both? Can you get a regular growly Jazz sound out of the TM4 if needed?
12. Ida copied mine... ;-)
13. Price drop to £450 now £400 Up for sale is my trusty Ampeg SVT-III non pro. No trades. This amp is awesome, and I love it, but surplus to my needs these days. Instead, I need a spare for the lightweight rig. Sorry to see this go, but its gathering dust and deserves to be spanked the hell out of a nightly basis. Needless to say, its Ampeg, a real one, hence large amounts of trouser flappage and brown-note-ability... Comes with the flightcase it lives in (excuse the socks )
14. Three pages and still going strong. Gotta love BC Can I add shades to the equation? We did a charity gig on Friday night, the other band's bassist was not only sporting a fine leather waistcoat, but also shades. Clearly vital on a dark stage at 10pm. The cheeky scallywag was also bald a coot but with no hat, the brazen cheek of it!
15. JTS SIEM 101 In-ear monitoring system for sale. Comes with case and all leads. Fully working, selling for Mrs Clarky72 as she no longer needs it. Bargain price of £150..
16. Haha. That is perfectly obvious as soon as you see me!!
17. So far it hasn’t given me the magic skill of Mr Miller but I’m sure it will.
18. Oh hang on...
19. Damn. Can’t post a pic on mobile. Its like I’m lying. Oh the shame of it all...
20. Bought myself a Marcus Miller style pork pie hat. The perfect cure for the onset of thinning hair and bright stage lights.
21.
I am using an older x2 rack mounted system, with the receiver on my amp. I run a 20 ft cable from the receiver to my board and 20ft back to the amp. And I run the cable around the edge of the stage, so I can keep a clean, clutter free performance space. There is no significant loss of high end ( I am very fussy about my top end) or latency.
Thanks, I think I'm going to go with long cables around the edge of the stage and try that out.
22.
PS - whats the storm trooper pedal?
Its an amazing clean boost my lovely friend built for me. ( I have to say that, he's the moderator of this section of BC )
