1. I got asked whether we played any Garage Punk the other day, I had to inform the gentleman that sadly I had knocked my garage down 2 years ago to make way for our kitchen extension.
2. Hi I've swapped the seat out of my wife's aunties Nissan Micra - brand new but she bought one without height adjustment - anyway long story. So I have a brand new seat - no one wants it on eBay - anyone want it? Would make a great er seat for a studio or gaming chair or whatever PM me if you'd like a photo
3. Someone asked us if we could play some Easter songs once - *blank look* ummm
4.
Also if they want to play the "traditional" card, where are fiesta red and lake placid blue. These are forever getting mentions as favourites here along with candy apple red (this should be available just out of respect for the late Duck with a gold anodised plate of course). 6. yes - usually ends up with a very chuncky sound - great for rhythm although I guess it will get muddy really quickly in a band scenario
7. I played an off white Fenix P bass for about 12 years as my main bass, wish I'd kept it - £99 new I got it for, brilliant value
8. I could make a very long list of albums which were "game changers" for me, starting with Revolver and coming all the way to Graceland, but in truth the one that had the biggest impact on me was probably Piledriver.
I saw the Quo regularly from 1974 until the original line-up reformations of the last few years. I can't think of many 2016 casualties I will miss more. Thanks Rick.
This says it all for me, Quo have been such a central part of my life - of course there's been other music on the journey but first and all along it were Quo. I feel like I've lost one of my closest friends. RIP Rick, thanks for everything xx
9. So upset, seen Quo so many times through my life. taken my son to see them. So many happy memories of their songs and gigs and Rick. RIP. What an awful year.
10. Tried my best but the chap seemed to take offence at me asking if he'd include postage in the price of the bass. Thought I'd save up instead now and buy myself a nice birthday present instead
11. I'd see if you can scrape a Lakland skyline - secondhand should be in budget or look for a German Warwick
12. had some interest but I haven't any way to post/courier it at the minute which is causing a headache - happy to meet up though within easy-ish reach of Epsom or I'm working over Sunbury way at the mo
13. Yes standard 4 ohms More or less the same specs as the gen 3 http://barefacedbass.com/product-range/Super-Twin.htm
14. Hi I'll probably regret this but here's my Barefaced Super Twelve T, Generation 1, handmade and painted by Alex in his garage, he even made me a cup of tea while the paint dried. It's done hundreds of gigs and is scraped in lots of places, you can get a touch up kit from barefaced if you're fussed. It has a dent on top and a chip in the front and various other bits of mojo that don't affect the way it sounds at all which is fabulous. I've just downsized to a one ten so this needs to go; no idea what it's worth so was £500 now £450. Pick up only though please or I can meet you near Epsom or Sunbury ish Thanks Bob
15. I see the problem here - you have to get Rotos and bed them in for about ten years then they're brilliant
