  4. SOLD Hi fellow basschatters, realising that ive done things arseways (i.e. getting nice shiny pedals when I need a decent amp) and the fact that theres so much Gallien Krueger porn going around in the amps section means I want to shift these pedals. I bought the Turbo RAT 2 weeks ago and it has been professionally modded by Protium(fellow BC'er) and has been upgraded with an LM308N chip, enhanced EQ section for better bass response, transistor and resistor upgrades (RAT 2 components, again more suited to bass),a handy boss style power jack and ultrabright red LED added. The pedal is well used but in perfect working order but im concentrating on getting a good solid clean sound for now and using my cheap multi fx if i fancy a bit of dirt Pedal cost me £50 and mods cost £15 and since ive only had it a few weeks, asking £65 posted. The Rocktron was a bit of an impulse buy as I wanted to dabble in compression and see if it would benefit my tone. To be honest, Im not really a fan and after an evening of playing around with it, Id rather have a few quid towards an amp to be fair. Again in perfect nick, retails for £69 upwards after a quick google search but I got it on a deal so id do it for £25 posted. If you take both of them of my hands then its £80 to your door. 5. Sorry if I'm being a complete noob here but is it safe to run.a 350w rated 700 rb with a 300w rated Neo 115? I'm looking at these cabs but my only worry is I can only get a backline or 400rb head to match as other heads wattage are higher e.g. 700 rb. Or did you always run it with another cab? Good luck with the sale

  12. Great pedal, rave reviews all over basschat and talkbass, just not for me unfortunately. Bought off UncleMeat (sound fella) a few weeks ago. After much tinkering and debating, ive decided the tubey warmth is a little too subtle for my tastes and im selling this as ive already have a behringer BDI21 for valve amp sound emulation and want to fund GAS for a Swollen Pickle. Bought it for £50, been used a handful of times, never gigged so say £55 posted? (including a 12v PSU worth a tenner). [attachment=105531:DSCF1082.JPG] Thanks for looking, any questions, fire away!
  13. im the exact same Lozz, read youre rave reviews on the Behringer before getting one, cheers yeah im goin with my ears on this one and the Behringer wins.
  14. First of all, this isn't one of the countless "which valve/tube emulation pedal is for me?" threads, ive read them all! Its more of a question of why, after loads of research,I can't hear the lovely sounds fellow basschatters and talkbassers hear and describe from their pedals. Ive owned a behringer bass di v tone (sansamp BDDI in a plastic box), Sansamp VT bass and Dave Hall VT1, all in search of that lovely tubey, bit of grind/dirt sound. I did a LOT of research (when i should have been playing bass ) and bought a Behringer (its a cheap DI after all, even if its crap, i thought). I LOVED the sound the Behringer gave me, even tho i heard it scooped mids, it sounds great to my ears, live and in the bedroom practicing. Ive since bought a VT bass and a DHA VT1 and i just can't get the same sounds, they seem to be too subtle to my ears and don't give the bass sound the same ballsy agression as the Behringer !!!!! Am I eartarded? I know there are rave reviews all over the net for all three of these tube type pedals but I can't seem to coax the same sounds out of my DHA VT or VT bass. I sold the VT bass and im very close to doing the same with the DHA VT1. I know my amp isn't great ( cheap ass Behringer Combo) but that shouldn't effect the sound THAT much should it?
  15. Sooooo tempted by this but don't have finances at the moment. That will hopefully change in next few days tho. I'll keep u posted. Give it a bump if she's goin on eBay anytime soon:)
  16. Had same experience as Matt (above), got DHA VT-1 from same thread. Sams a sound guy and was prompt with postage with item professionally packaged.
  17. Ridonculous value for money! I need a job:)
  18. Alister bought some bass player magazines from me. Nice guy, prompt payment and good communication.
  19. good call on KT Tunstall, getting an education here on slow tunes i haven't heard
  20. bump for price drop £3.25 each further discounts on bundles, 5 for £15, 10 for £30 any less than this and I might as well call over to your gaff, put the mags in a neat pile on your coffee table, pour you a brew and read youre favourite articles to you! (rant is based on shipping costs and desire to get these shifted )
  21. bump for a great pedal. Alas I have no funds. Apparently the Fulltone OCD has better bottom end than the Fulltone MOSFET driver so this modded clone should be a great pedal on bass. your soundcloud clip sounds great btw, better than 99% of the clips on the official website! Good luck with the sale mate.
