    Yes I’ve had this issue too. My Markbass CMD combo has a separate line out control which is very useful indeed

    I have two 5 string versions of this and they are superb and went under the radar for many. Body is slightly smaller than a Jazz and very comfortable and the necks are oiled and waxed so really smooth. I'd have it off you sharpish if it was a five string!

    I have a Sterling HH and use both pickups most of the time. I set the amp EQ to make the most of this setting. When I switch to the bridge pickup, I use the active EQ on the the bass to compensate, which normally means dialling in a bit more bass and cutting mids.

    I'm still working off two sets of KAM Powerbars, so 4 cans each side with each can having 7 tri-colour LEDs. Both units connected together and then to a DMX controller. I don't think you can get them any more but Stairville do something very similar https://www.thomann.de/gb/stairville_stage_tri_led_bundle_complete.htm.

    @MuzzSlightly off tangent maybe but if you're creating your B3 tones using in-ears, how do you ensure your current FOH sound is spot on?

    @dood I'm doing this sort of by adding the compressor to a parallel path rather than in line. Would that not give a similar result?

    Don't get me wrong chaps, I was just saying that from the Helix forums the most popular addition after some better synths and filters seems to be a compressor. I'm more than happy with the three band. @HazBeen what filter are you using? I'm looking for some 70s filter/synth for disco and funk and I just can't get it out of the Helix. Ironically the B3n can do it...... .😛

    For bass the filter and synths in the Helix really don't do much. This is possibly the biggest future requirement of the Helix bass community (alongside a bass specific compressor). I add my Future Impact in to the loop as well.

    The overdrive on these is quite sensitive to various combinations of the gain, drive and level knobs and I have to adjust all three to get the right sound when I change guitars.

    SOLD LOCALLY - thanks to everyone who took time to mail with their interest. Gutted to sell this but I'm playing 5 strings exclusively now. I hung on to it purely for looks but the time is now right to move it on. This is the 74 version from 2013 which arguably is the best reissue that Fender did. These don't come up for sale that often. It's a beautiful olympic white/black jazz, proper four bolt maple neck with binding, pearl blocks and proper logo, 74 pickups with correct spacing. original G&G case, both ashtrays and case candy included. Important to know is that it has a U shaped neck which is pretty unique. Currently strung with 45-105 DR Sunbeams. Condition is 9/10. Couple of tiny nicks and I'll get some better photos of these for any interested buyers. I really don't want to deliver so collection is best or happy to meet up. No trades thanks.

    There is an easy way to do it and there is a pairing button - it's on the back of the unit. These are far from being dreadful' units. I would imagine they are being discontinued because the retail price made them unattractive purchases. This has been discussed on here at length

    I have one - it's a really good piece of practice kit. It will even power an extension cab (i've used it with a 1x12 before). The wireless seems not to work too well and the transmitter is hideous, but the bluetooth is great. Not sure what makes this a limited edition version - looks just like my regular one. Great price though.
