hey - so this is a very specific question, but I wonder if anyone owns one or more of the following Mr. Black reverb pedals: Eterna Eterna (gold edition) Supermoon the first 2 are reverbs with a shimmer control, and the supermoon is modulated. I have seen a couple of demos, and they sound great, just wondered if anyone had any experience of using these on bass?? cheers

I definitely think I'd use the option of switching the clean signal off and on mid song, but I don't know that that is worth the £££

I'm trying to resist on this one but it is tempting!! Thing is, I'm starting to resent all the money I've spent on pedal quests over the years, and my OC-2 with a DOD octoplus on the shelf does everything I need... I'd really love to try one of these with my fuzz pedals though

My W&C tall font Russian is still the go to fuzz, with a BB preamp to boost it and an OC2 for synth fuzz magic. Still love the malekko diabolik, it's a great contrast to a muff... but it's all about the W&C

I was more amused by the 'f*** you effects' element of the post - i too have wasted a lot of money on pedals over the years, to end up with just a handful that I like!!

Perhaps this pirate will make it all better [/quote] post of the year I would say BB preamp and W&C tall font russian fuzz if it had to be two, but I've grown pretty dependant on my OC-2 as well, so I'm going to stick to those 3, I can live without my chorus pedal...

i guess - i ordered the limit edition one, it's screen printed, not a sticker, and looks better than the picture on the website would have you believe. other than that, it's a case of waiting til he builds another batch (if you are waiting for etched) and then being quick!! i couldn't wait so went with the screen printed one.

i'm finding myself using mine with gain at around 10 or 11 o'clock, it's a great tone-shaping pedal, i've never got such a nasty, grindy tone out of my p-bass.

good luck with the sale man, i love my diabolik - only clean blend that I have ever got on with, and it sounds killer after an OC-2 -

it surprises me a little that EHX haven't done an update of the micro synth with a memory like the POG 2...

have you checked out Juan Alderete's website, pedals and effects? he seems to use a fretless on an awful lot of the demo videos, so that may give you some inspiration

ok, so liking the blower box i run a BB preamp (with the bass boosted a little) and a tall font russian, so both give a little bass boost... all the other distortions i've tried sound a little thin by comparison, even when they aren't in fact cutting any bass at all... but the blower sits really nicely between the two pedals, and sounds soooo aggressive, so pretty chuffed with it for £90 edit - this thing KILLS after an analog octave pedal

So, only 9 days later and it's here!!! Even though it was property marked up by Idiotbox with the full product value, it totally bypassed UK customs, what a bonus!! looking forward to trying this out tonight
