1. bump-a-roo for a cracking delay
2. Price reduction to £795!!!
3. Still for sale
4. Forgot to add, takes a standard 9v BOSS style power supply, or a battery (included). Maxon pedals are really solid, and decent gear (they used to make the old Ibanez pedals, many years ago)...
5. For sale is a close-to brand new, analog delay from Maxon (it has had a few hours of home use only). Bought on a whim, but no matter how much I think I'll use a delay, I never find use for one in either of my bands. So selling as I can't afford to keep this on the shelf for home use only. Info on the pedal here: http://www.godlyke.c...10-analog-delay No UK dealer that I know of, so bought this from rock-gear.de, for £205 inc shipping. It is the best analog delay I've used on bass, and I've tried the carbon copy, AD-9, mad prof DBD, subdecay echobox, malekko 300d, BOSS RE-20, DD-3, catalinbread blue pedal I can't remember the name of and EQD dispatch master. I have no idea why I keep buying delays! Anyway, it oscillates nicely, and is the quietest analog delay I've ever used. Pics below, and selling this (inc. postage) for the veeery reasonable [s]£130[/s]. TRADED
6. nice JV... here's hoping you sell it so you can maybe buy my 62 RI JV
7. oooor, he likes it as it glitches like fek
8. pictures now added - afraid they're only iphone quality but if anyone is serious and needs them, I could probably borrow a decent camera and take some better quality snaps...
9. Hi folks. I know I'll regret this, but I am having to drop close to £400 on a replacement neck for my Stingray, and so I need to sell one of my 2 JV Precisions. This is a 62 model, rosewood board. Beauty... This bass has the original pickups, and the only modification is the replacement of the original vintage style bridge with a GOTOH bridge. This is a like-for-like replacement, same length screws, etc. I still have the original bridge (and original screws!), so this is a simple swap to make the bass 100% original. PM me if you want to discuss this, or shipping without GOTOH, etc, as I can tweak the asking price accordingly. For [s]£795[/s] [s]£750[/s] £695 I leave on the GOTOH and provide the original bridge too. I don't have any scales at home, but this is the lightest P bass I've ever used (and I own / have owned other JV's, Fender US P's of various ages, Tokai P's, etc) - it's lighter than my 2011 Fender US P, which is nice and light. It's a light bass, is what I'm trying to say Few dings from 30 plus years of use, but nothing more than that. It is a beautifully playing bass, setup with chromes (flats) at the mo, and had a setup from the local luthior. I am Bristol based. I don't have a spare case for this so collection / meetup would be preferred. Rather not have to try couriering this wouthout a hard case! cheers Gaz http://www.flickr.co...08/10289934203/ http://www.flickr.co...08/10289708564/ http://www.flickr.co...08/10289823175/ http://www.flickr.co...08/10289824145/ http://www.flickr.co...08/10289711534/ http://www.flickr.co...08/10289811016/ http://www.flickr.co...08/10289822355/
10. there is a video review of this up from Juan A on pedals and effects. I'n not as taken with it as he is, but the tracking sounds ok
11. SOLD cheers folks
12.
I still have one power output underneath... hmmm...
pimp it out with under-board LED's, of course!
13. Hi - so after much chopping and changing, I just prefer my little pedaltrain mini!! T-Rex tonetrunk 42 pedal board, really nice soft carrycase, used a bit at home and for a handful of band practises, but great condition. These sell for around £110 new so selling for the silly price of £49.99. Postage not included, as it may be a faff to post, and I've only posted little pedals before, so don't want to second guess postage costs!!! Pics below:
14.
I would say anyone who is having some kind of output problem, such level consistenty, they would 'need' a compressor
or they might NEED a better technique? I'm amazed this thread is still going! Surely you can just do whatever you want with music, that's half the fun. You don't NEED effects in the same way you don't NEED a bass - the white stripes managed to shift a few records over the years. Presidents of the USA didn't have a bass, and they only used 2 and 3 string guitars... You don't NEED (insert anything here), there are no rules! But as many have said, I'd like to see someone try auditioning for the role of bassist in a dubstep band with just their trusty P bass, instrument lead and amp, and no FX!
15. You change your mind as often as i do mate Would be sll over the W&C but trying to save cash! Any interest in a brand new AD-10 (maxon) delay??
16. not a power supply issue, that's just what that type of switching sounds like.
17. Totally depends on you ears, and the pedals too. I run O/d into fuzz, or boost into o/d, or fuzz into boost, just do what sounds good
18. have a look in the effects forum, I'm sure a veeery similar thread appeared not too long ago. someone will soon chip in with 'no pedals are essential" and they're right, depending on what you're playing, but if you're in a funky disco band, I'd imagine a filter and an octave pedal would give you some nice options
19. and replied stache on hold, pending the usuals...
20. weekend bump!
21. ha haa - mad. I ordered a set of red LED from the same website about 3 weeks ago!! How long did yours take to ship??
