1. knocked another tenner off the price, need to sell this beast!
2. cheer mate - if I didn't also have the TFR it'd stay... Nobody fancy some fuzzy greatness in their lives?? I need to pay for my ATP ticket now also, so could do with selling this. May put my Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master and my Maxon AD-10 Delay up for sale soon too, times are hard!! (well, they wouldn't be if I didn't keep buying pedals!)
3. You could have his bass and pedalboard but using a solid state amp you will struggle!
4. I don't have the link but search on talkbass, there are vast threads devoted to this subject. But a jazz bass and 2 or 3 SVT's would be a start...
5. It Is Badass... ..just overkill having this and a TFR...
6. carbon copy withdrawn, having too much fun with it this morning!!!
7. To echo previous comments, I think the best bet is to listen to a bunch of pedal effect demo's from pro guitar shop, even though they are mostly for guitar, to get an idea of what octave pedals, filters, overdrives, fuzzes, chorus, phasers, flangers etc, actually sound like. I am very much a fan of individual, analog effects, but I think something like a Line 6 M5 may be a great first step, aside from the weak dirt sounds they cover a lot of ground pretty well. A little pedaltrain nano setup with an octave pedal, filter, dirt pedal and modulation pedal will get you 99% of sounds, but yes, it is quite addictive when you start out! Fun though...
8. mid-week bump...
9. mxr analog chorus is very nice, like a sightly warmer boss ce-5
10. bump for 1,000 people looking and not buying!! taken a fiver off the stache, get yourself some fuzzy goodness!
11. yeah, I really like the BB - the EQ on it is very good. I don't like the high gain settings on it, but that's not what I use it for! phat phuk is good at what it does, but won't allow you much control over anything other than 'hair' or volume... but both these 2 pedals together? winning.
12. hey Nick - not going to be there but have a great festival any bristol shows before xmas?
13. bit surprised in the lack of interest in these, but PM me if you want to make a reasonable offer (though I think these are pretty fair prices) still not really interested in trades, but depending on my mood at any given time of the day, feel free to suggest anything, as I'm no longer in a desperate need for the cash. fuzzes and phasers in particular may tempt me
14. I still regret selling my PS-3 great little box of tricks! on a rather sad, pimp-my-pedalboard kind of note, I have just ordered some LED strips for underside-lighting on my pedalboard I'm going to get so much grief at gigs!
15. well - yes! the soft case is falling apart and I don't want £500 of pedals getting trashed!!! I often carry this board to practise on foot with my bass so flight cases not ideal... It's just frustrating mono make such good replacement cases for every style and size of PT board apart from the mini...
16. two BB preamps?? how do you use the two - stacked, or just set for different levels of gain?? slight change to mine - get fed up having a full mini with one extra pedal on the floor, so benched the EQD dispatch master. thing is, it's an amazing 'bedroom' pedal for bass, but gets lots in a band mix, especially the reverb :/ The only problem I now have is my pedaltrain mini softcase is falling apart. The mini is the ONLY PT board Mono don't do a case for, and have no plans to do so, plus no hard case options, so what do you do???
17. sunday night bump
18.
Gaz is your Dispatch Master grey & white? Custom colour? Si
nah - just the sepia of the iphone pic! it's a standard white and blue!
19. cheers - have to say i'm really falling for the dispatch master, with the reverb dialled up and the chorus pedal on too, it's soooo good
20. Slight change to my board... Signal chain is as straightforward as it looks: OC-2 -- TU-2 -- BB Preamp -- TFR -- Chorus -- Dispatch Master So many good sounds in this setup, and the reverb in the EQD pedal is just amazing! Wasn't initially sure about this pedal as I was expecting a really present, DD-3ish delay, but it's actually really nice, not lo-fi but quite warm sounding, very similar to my old subdecay echobox (but with added reverb). The only problem now is they don't all fit on the same board (i have tried), so if I stick with a 6-pedal setup for a few months, it's time to look at a slightly bigger board. Already have my eye on the NYC pedalboard six-shot board And, lord save us, I've taken an 'arty' shot...
21. far as i know yes, they made all the old ibanez effects...
22. just to chip in and say this is a grat pedal - maxon pedals are awesome. Would be interested if I hadn't recently bought a maxon AD-10
