1. I'm considering making a permanent switch up from a pedaltrain mini to a larger board, so I can fit all my favourites on, so I'm having a particularly rock 'n' roll saturday night wiring this up My OCD is having difficulties with the ugliness of the cabling at the minute, but easily fixed if I decide to stick with this board size!!!
 2. One of these... Through these... And into this... =
 3. Over the last 20 years of playing, I have bought and sold these:

Encore P-bass copy
Vester Warwick copy
2002 Fender USA Jazz
2002 Fender USA Precision
1980's Tokai custom edition P bass
Gibson Ripper
Fender Jaguar
Fender American Vintage 57 re-issue
I wish I'd kept hold of the Ripper and the Jazz, but I'm happy with what I've got now...

1980's Musicman Stingray
Fender Japan (non-export) Jazz
Squier JV P Bass
Squier JV P Bass
4. yeah, i am tempted by adding another mini, or a nano, as i don't like the fact that with bigger boards you have to step over pedals to reach the back row! with the George L's, when i put my board together the other day using the leads I used on my last board, there was hardly any sound initially, and I had to re-check all the leads. they were working fine last week. i guess I just find them temperamental. Other folks on here seem to swear by them, but i've had bad experiences and am loathe to gig with them for that reason...
 5. wednesday, sat-at-home-following wisdom tooth-removal in a boat-load of pain BUMP
 6. cheers Deej / JohnnyC - and yes, George L's, though to be honest I'm getting a bit annoyed with them as I keep having problems with them, and tempted to switch back to 'normal' patch cables! also, seriously thinking about changing to a larger board, as i want to use my boost pedal too, but the mini is already filled to capacity...
 7. new addition squeezed onto the end of my board... i wish pedaltrain made a slightly wider mini, it's just not quite wide enough for me and my clumsy feet! liking the tremorslo so far
 8. I played guitar through a friends phaser, an it was a great little unit, definitely recommended..
 9. yeah, i love tremors, and tremolos, so it was a no-brainer! i think the dual speed idea is brilliant, so hopefully will get to use this in anger a lot!
 10. epic win - this was the last painted one! I have a stache myself, looking forward to pairing the two of them together tonight my best monday in a while (not difficult!)
 11. looking forward to getting this puppy home tonight!!!
 12.
Slightly more boring but functional iteration of my pedalboard:
nice board! i do love the BB preamp. took mine off the board for a brief time and was using a dredgetone angler, but the BB is back!
 13. well, a good option is to buy second hand pedals, then if they don't do it for you (assuming they are sold at a fair price) you can sell them for little or no loss then try something else out. I do think the nature of this pedal is in the same ball park as the JHS. The thing is, I've tried a lot of dirt and o/d pedals, and the bass you use, and your amp, etc, makes such a difference. I have pedals that sound great when i use my P bass and not nearly as good when I use my jazz, and vice-versa. you'll only know you really like something when you try it through your own setup. I'm selling this as it sounds great with my jazz, but my BB preamp sounds better when I use my P bass, and that's the bass seem to be using these days!
 14. a shameless plug, but i have a dredgetone bass angler in the for sale section and it's a fantastic overdrive, goes from super low gain up to cutting rat-like distortion. BB bass preamp would be my pedal of choice.
 15. hey - well, if i'm honest, I think I have all the dirt pedals I need, but a man can always be tempted - what do you have?
 16. i've not waded through 3 pages of responses to apologies if this is repeating anybody. personally, i'd suggest a boost pedal - just to boost your volume slightly and fatten up your sound (i use a wren and cuff phat phuk for this, but i think somebody had a bajo boost in the classifieds?)
 17. stache's are slowly taking over the world looks good in blue!
