1. OSD on hold pending the usual...
2. cheers! yeah, i have a pre-MOSFET bassdrive, and the OSD, on the right settings, can get bassier. it's just a bit too 'nasty/aggressive' sounding (in a good way) for me!
3. bump for a cracking pedal (and slight surprise in the low interest!)
4. bump - this is a fantastic dstortion pedal - also does nice o/d too...
5. dolphin music showing this for over £1,900... jeez!
6. these look fantastic, apart from the price as stated... £1,500 - to be honest, why don't you get a 1970's bassman 135 and a good overdrive/boost pedal, for a third of the price.... love my bassman 135, but interested to try one of these, curious about the second channel - always surprised that more amps for bass don't have 2 channels!!!

Why?
Yeah a bit silly. Some dude says he can't believe I 'wasted' my money. Oh well.
yeah, i saw that - that pedalboard thread on the TC facebook page was like a magnet for w***ers!! some of the comments were ridiculous, especially the guy who said you'd wasted your money, and that he was awesome as he had 5 pedals and 'used them ALL'.... slow hand claps all around
8. OK, not sure how to upload this directly, but follow this link for a clip i made of the OSD, using a JV P bass into a fender bassman 135 (recorded with a zoom H2)... first clip is clean bass, then playing the same riff, turning up the gain and mixing up the EQ settings... 9. Both Maxon's soon to be winging their way to Sheffield - Fuzzrocious OSD still available
10. maxons pedals both sold pending the usual - fuzzrocious still available
11. BUMP - help - I put these pedals up as i needed the cash, then promptly bought Mark's dredgetone angler, so now i REALLY need you to buy these from me

Why?
on the whole I find it strange that there's a huge big section of the forum dedicated to bass FX. For now, I'm still quite happy to plug straight in...
quite simply, there is a large section on the forum dedicated to FX simply because there are large numbers of bass players who use effects, and are interested in them (in addition to a post or two every week from somebody saying 'my fingers are the only FX i need' or 'why do you need FX') some bassists don't use effects, or dislike them, and that's fine for them. I personally don't use FX for any reason other than i like the options of being able to boost my volume, or add some o/d or fuzz to my signal. a lot of people have pedalboards with just a tuner, a compressor (in some cases) and boost or dirt pedals. none of those will make the bass sound out of synch with the rest of the band. other people have vast pedalboards, containing every type of effect you can imagine - and it's safe to say most of them aren't playing in a beatles tribute act, or a generic indie band. but why should you be limited to just bass and amp, just because you play an instrument that traditionally existed in the background to support the rhythm. some bands don't have bass players at all, other have 2 bassists and no guitarist. why limit yourself by what other people have done - if it sounds good, go with it...
13. bump for photo's... sorry for the less than awesome iphone picture, but it's an easy way to upload pics
14. ok info found elsewhere, PM pending
15. mark - some very tempting pedals there, how is the angler as a very low gain o/d pedal, and how would you describe it voicing wise??? (can't find much on the net but interesting sounding pedal!!) cheers
16. OK, snowboard holiday booked, so need to find some way of paying for it quickly Pictures in the second post, just the OSD remaining: Fuzzrocious Oh See Demon Perfect condition, only had this a couple of months. Velcro on the base, but easily removed with no trace! Cost of purchase including postage and tax was just over £145, so looking to get around the £115 mark for this one, including postage. Maxon AD9-Pro SOLD Maxon PT999 Phase Tone SOLD
17. PM sent RE possible trade??? cheers
18. just read this - anyone interested in this - I'm Bristol not Cardiff i know several Bristol basschatters that'd probably be up for this too!!

Sold

damn it i keep missing these!! i'm in the same boat as you, got a fuzz and a phat phuk from W&C. sold the fuzz (tri pie), but the phat B is never leaving my board!!
20. grand - i've only heard good things about him/IE - and the nimbus sounds great...
21. cool, think i'll end up doing the same..
22. so now that xmas is out of the way, i'm getting sorely tempted to get an IE numbus. has anybody ordered an IE pedal from the UK, have you purchased directly from IE or from a US pedal shop - any recommendations?? cheers
23. +1 to everything said in the last post. i really wanted to like analog delays, owned a few but they're too dark on bass for me. I have a subdecay echobox (which still sounds nice and warm), plus a DD-3 for more sterile, punchy repeats.
24.
Have been meaning to do this for ages, here goes... Left to right - Line 6 X3 Live, Soundblox Bass Envelope Filter with a Diago power supply above it, Akai Deep Impact, a piece of paper with some presets written on, Soundblock Multiwave Bass Distortion, Xotic X-Blender, EHX Bass Big Muff PI. The right band board is linked to the Line 6 via it's effects loop, with the volume pedal as a blend from dry to wet It does me! Merry Christmas!
happy xmas matey - i'll really have to pop round and sneak a go on your deep impact some time, love to know what all the fuss is about!! nice boards!
