1. you're giving me ideas... lots of scope for ambient intro's and sections in our bands stuff, and currently relying on a dispatch master alone... it needs some company!! out of interest, how prominent can the reverb get on the el cap?
2. bump - now reduced to £50 posted
3. I have had a couple of evenings to play with the new, mini Tarkin. Wow, it's really good Pics to follow!
4. I had a T-16 and one of the new Tarkins (the little one) delivered today, looking forward to giving them a run through tonight!
5. yep - best sounding o/d I've ever used for playing with fingers!
6. i have a T-16 incoming... can't wait!!
7. enjoy - I do love mine for low to medium drive, particularly backing back the treble a little bit and slightly boosting the bass on the pedals EQ
8. bumparoo
9.
Do you know how this compares with the Boss CEB-3? I have the Boss pedal and would be interested to know if the MXR analog chorus is worth the cost of changing.
no idea i'm afraid. it's very similar to the boss CE-5 I used to have...
10. It's so much down to taste and the rest of your gear / setup. Personally, I love the xotic bass BB with my P , so a second hand one is as good a place as any to start!
11. MXR analog chorus (not the bass chorus), I think it sounds great, and very decent price.
12. sorry, sold and sent out in the post today. think I was a bit low on the asking price, never had so many messages!
13. sold Marek a flanger this month, good comms, fast payment and a pleasure to deal with Gaz
14. Up for sale, this cracking preamp. Can be used as an EQ / tone shaper, a clean boost or an EQ boost. Also included is an adaptor to power it using standard boss style 9v connectors. Very very good condition, with original box. Still has the battery compartment door, not so common on these old DOD pedals Juan Alderete rates these quite highly, I can see why. £50 inc. postage in the UK. cheers Gaz
15. Hi all, not sure what to put these up at, so taking a punt at £20, but open to negotiation! Four machine heads from my 1989 MM stingray, I replaced them with schallers a few years back. Functioning perfectly, minor cosmetic issue with the low G tuner, see pic below, the tuning peg is slightly bent - could probably be bent back but I have left it how it is. Price includes UK postage... cheers
16. Janes Addiction - Strays Also, the Alice in Chains record from 5 or 6 years ago was pretty good
17. I think it means you can use a single 4 ohm cab, or two 8 ohm cabs. I have the same amp, I use a 4 ohm cab (over 10 years now), no problems The output from the amp is 4 ohms, either 4 ohms through one output or 8 from each if you are using 2 cabs...
18. solidgold fx fuzz SOLD Boss flanger reduced to £40 inc postage
19. Takes a while to dial in into your setup, for sure...
20. And change the diodes internally to asymmetrical LED, in my humble opinion, sounds best.
21. I run my cog with gain a tiny bit over half. The blend and filter knobs on the left both at about 2 o clock. Full gain as per your demo is not that usable a sound. Plus less is more with the blend and filter on the blend, just needs a touch to fatten up the lowest frequencies...
22. I couldn't get this to stream on the weekend - but from owning all 3, the COG was the clear winner for me - what do you think Andy?
