1.
I personally think they are in a good place for a two person lift.
I agree, i'm talking about the tilt back option though. It seems very awkward, you have to walk backwards. I end up just carrying it on my own most of the time. It is pretty light though. Cheers Thebassman
 2.
Not opened up my cab and agreed the handles are in a silly position, how about a strap style handle or an Ampeg style 'towel rail' style handle as each wouldn't require invasive surgery to attach?
Yeah, i was thinking down the lines of a strap handle, similar to the new "barefaced" style. I would still probably want to open it up though and then fit either a plate or washers and nuts/ bolts to the inside, just in case i ripped the thing off when moving it. I might have a look at the weekend, if i do i'll put some pics up. cheers thebassman
 3. Hi As there are lots of new Genz NX2 2X12 cab owners, after all of the bargains. Has anyone retro fitted an extra handle at the top/ back of the cab so you can use the tilt back function. I have been thinking about doing this as the side handles make it really awkward. Has anyone opened the cab up to see if there is clearance inside for fixings? Cheers Thebassman
 4. TThat's the funniest thing I have seen for a long time, it reminds me of dance at the end of Napoleon dynamite. Cheers Thebassman
 5.
I've got all the manuals etc, just be nice to find out a bit more about the history of the amps It's an amazing bit of kit
They do look really good. I never got to own one either, I have had a 400+, mpulse 600 and then M6 carbine. They were all really good, my favourite was the M6, it was epic. Cheers Thebassman
 6. Price drop to £450 Cheers Thebassman
 7. Dammit, I should of snapped this up earlier. Cheers Thebassman
Hi That is a lovely lloking bass, i'm going to have to say no though. My missus will kill me, we are moving house in a month or two, so i need to get rid of stuff. cheers thebassman
 10. I may be open to trades, what have you got? Cash would be better . Cheers Thebassman

 12. So, with a few months gigging/ rehearsing etc. for people to live with this cab. Has anyone got any more detailed reviews or thoughts. I'm still really keen on getting one. Cheers Thebassman
 13. I don't get all the love/ hate feelings towards these cabs.............. i do look forward to a new BF thread though. it's always good for a laugh. I owned a early BF compact/ midget T set up for a while. I wasn't that keen on the looks or sounds i was getting with my OTB 500. I have now got a GB shuttlemax 9.2, and would love to hear it through either a gen 3 big twin or even a vintage. cheers thebassman
 14.
Is the cab still for sale? And where is the M6? =) Do you come near Tongham (Guildford) in the near future?
Hi Yes the mesa cab is still for sale. I moved the M6 on a while ago, it was a fantastic head, I just wanted something a bit different. Cheers Thebassman
 15.
Last call for volunteers based 'down south' to babysit some trial cabs... I'll pass the info to Tommy in the next couple of days.
Hi WOT, if you are still looking for volunteers to house the TKS cabs, I would like to put my name forward. I'm based just outside of Cambridge. Cheers Thebassman
 16.
my dream cab, but too far from me
It certainly is a brilliant cab Cheers Thebassman
 17.
It's not the easiest to maneuver around to be honest... the wheels and handles are in a bit of an odd position relative to each other. I've got a sack barrow and some luggage straps for mine, easy as anything to get about with it now.
Yeah, i must admit, the tilt back feature is hopeless. Lucky it is nice and light, i just carry it most of the time. cheers thebassman
