This Behringer Ultracurve Pro was suffering from the dreaded fried-eggs noise before I detached the ribbon cable - replacing the ribbon cable is known to fix this fault. The unit was working perfectly otherwise. Unfortunately, I find that I don't have the time or the soldering skills to replace the cable with the new one that I obtained (and which is included). These sell new for £220. I'm sure there are plenty of handy people here who could fix this, and it should be worth their while as I'm only asking £20. Can deliver at cost.

What needs to be said about the Aguilar TH500 that you don't already know? This one is in excellent condition (virtually as new) and comes complete with the Aguilar gigbag. £450. The two trades I'd consider would be a very cheap lightweight amp offered in part-ex. or a deal with an Ibanez Premium 4-string bass.

Sennheiser EW 100 transmitter and belt pack receiver for guitar or mic. A few scratches but works perfectly. Both units are metal boxed. Works on the licence-free band. The latest version sells for over £400. Go wireless with this for just £60.

This is my Seymour Duncan Double Back compressor. It was the final stop on my compressor quest. A VCA-based unit, it is very solidly build in a cast alloy case. Ovnilabs gives it a very positive review. "The action is smooth and unobtrusive. It can do some moderate peak limiting, though not for extreme cases. There is no loss of highs or lows, and the tone is neutral......I actually think this pedal is a fantastic value for the money!" This unit sounds really good with guitar as well, but Seymour Duncan have now decided to sell separate models for bass and guitar. The successor model, called the Seymour Duncan Studio Bass, seems to be virtually the same design in a different case and sells for £160. Only selling because I now have an amp with built-in compression and I am a sucker for convenience. Excellent contition, complete with original box and instructions. £80.

This is my Casio CTK-671 keyboard. 61 full-size keys, hundreds of different sounds, rhythms, digital effects, etc. 6-track memory. Midi capable. Complete with power supply, but also works with batteries if you're keen on busking. Very good condition. Everything works as it should. Wouldn't be out of place in a band situation, but also a nice present with Christmas just round the corner. This was my bass for about eight years. It really does give you the sound of a P-bass and the sound of a Stingray (or a combination of both) in one instrument. Lovely bass.
