Hello, I bought this compressor 2-3 weeks ago from e-bay. It is in a good working and cosmetic condition, no dents or scratches. I am selling it, because I expected it'll combine with my current gear and will produce something different than what it turned out to be. It is 2U, has 2 ECC83 valves, can work as stereo or dual mono. [attachment=64453:ivory_2_5021.jpg] This is a photo I've downloaded from internet, gives an idea. It adds a nice warm drive when used with vocals, but I don't sing as much to justify keeping it. Here's some info from the TLAudio web site: 5021 2 Channel Valve Compressor Each channel offers fully variable control of input and output gain, threshold, ratio and gain make up. Attack and Release times are switchable for 'fast' and 'slow' modes. An expander/gate is provided with control of threshold. Metering is via VU meters - either output level or gain reduction can be monitored. A front panel instrument input is also included. The unit will work in dual mono or stereo linked modes, and a compressor bypass switch is provided on each channel. Inputs and outputs are duplicated on balanced XLR and unbalanced jack, and a sidechain insert point is included on each channel. I am including four "maplin's" patch leads in the sale, because I won't need them. Asking price is now 150GBP. Delivery or collection preferred - I am based in Acton, W London. Regards, Steff.

Hello, this is just a feeler at the moment, I bought my Bass400+ from a fellow basschater 3 months ago, it is in very good state, almost no scratches. He told me it's been revalved about an year ago, but I had to replace 2 valves that maybe went bad due to transportation or who knows what... I do not have any decent photos, but you all know how those look like. Has no issues, no cracking pots or whatever. I think the only issue in this case is the combination of amp+cabs+bass+player... I am just not sure that's the right amp for me. Now I don't really know what I am looking for. I will consider any offer in the same price range, and the same power range. It will be good if you're around London so we can meet and try how it sounds. I don't mind if it's transistor, mosfet, hybrid or all valve head, as long as I can try it and possibly like it. With great thanks to Chris for being noble and keeping his word, I can say that today is one of the happiest days of my life! After 650 miles and 14 hours I can finally sit at home and hold the instrument I've dreamed to play for the last few years! And it is awesome! This bass now will be put on good use, I am doing music full time and definitely that sound will find place in at least 2-3 of the bands I play with. It will be religiously treated and I give my word If I ever decide to sell it (I seriously doubt that), it will be on sale here on basschat and nowhere else for about the same price. Regards, Steff. Lol... You're right, it looks amazing on stage and sounds even better... I had it for 2 years and I used it along with two more 18' cabs... It was quite an impressive rig ... I think somewhere here I've spotted a black 2x10 for sale, let me try to find it, if it's still for sale, I might buy it and put that on sale.

Thanks for the offer dude, I had one of these a few months ago, but I had to sell it, due to it's size. Now, I would love to get one again, because in my opinion it sounds better that the 2x10 powerhouse. The other thing is, I am powering them with a bass 400+ and this one is 4ohm, my 18' is 8ohm... I don't really want to run my amp at 2.66ohm, because I am using it at quite high levels and I don't want to take the chance of frying it.

Hello folks, I am looking to trade my Mesa 2x10 8ohm 600W silver grill for another Mesa 2x10 or 4x10 in black, must be 8ohm. It'll just look cooler with my 18' Mesa cab, which is in black. Alright... I've had my bass for 11 years now, bought it new in '99. The bass is in good condition. It's been gigged a lot and it has never let me down, but I feel like it's time for a change... The SR5 comes in his original condition, no mods. Original hard SKB case. Since I am gigging all the time, I can't sell it, that's why I am after a trade. I am looking for a bass in the same price range (750-900GBP), or a more expensive one + cash your way. Any trade offer will be considered. I am after a 5str, but will consider any old 4 Fender J or P, as well as some Sadowsky or other quality 4 stringers.
