Hardly used Lexicon MX400XL effects processor. Some top notch sounds and very easy to tweak and programme. This is in superb condition except where the rack screws have rubbed a little bit of paint from around the 'holes' - not visible when rack-mounted. A great processor that underlines Lexicon's reputation for quality in every department. I'm decluttering so making this available for someone else to play with I'm looking for £145 including shipping to mainland UK. I can supply a brand new Gator 2U rack case for an additional £40.
Blimey, haven't seen a Lado for a long time! First came across them at the Frankfurt trade fair in the early 80's. Very high quality instruments.
Glad someone else has heard of them I have found some sound samples from Adrian Davison who uses Lado basses: http://www.adriandavison.com/cd.html Check out Alibi or Dorian's Mode - Sounds good to me!

Lado? No, me neither until I bought this bass It turns out that JK Lado make high-end boutique basses in Canada. Highly respected bass makers with equally highly respected basses! Steve Harris is a long time player of Lado basses. To find a Lado bass in the UK is like the proverbial rocking horse excrement! I bought this Studio Custom 4 because not only does it look superb but it simply exudes quality. The Lacewood top is sublime with a through neck design, PJ Bartolini pick-ups and a 2-band active pre-amp (Vol, Pan, Stacked Bass/Treble). It is a 34" scale with a 42mm top nut and 18mm string spacing at the bridge (string centres). It has a very shallow neck (back-to-front) and, as such is so easy to play. The bass weighs 4.3kg and is very well balanced either standing or sitting. The bass has just had a full, professional service and is fitted with Elixir 45-100 strings. The Lado comes with a fitted, plush-lined hard case.

Currently thinking of scaling down my rig. Here is my Barefaced Big Baby 2 - it's four months old, 12kg baby in immaculate condition, lovingly cared for and never, ever, pushed volume-wise. It is everything you've ever wanted or thought about sound-wise. I'm now considering going for the smallest in the Barefaced range as all I ever seem to need on stage is a monitor The cab comes with a brand new padded cover with the 'Barefaced' logo on the front. Details: Quantifiably the best small bass cab ever? A greatest hits compilation of our previous small cabs - the punch of the Midget, the efficiency and loudness of the Compact, the bottom, dispersion and clarity of the Big Baby T. It's hard not to love a cab that is potent enough to punch and thunder through a loud rock gig yet small and light enough to never leave behind, however difficult the journey or short the set. Clarity without harshness, depth without boom, fatness without mud. Incredibly even dispersion so it sounds the same wherever you're standing and however bad the room acoustics. What else do you need to know?

It's the first 1x12" to compete with great 2x12" and 4x10" cabs for tone, bottom and loudness
It has a fantastic mid/high waveguide compression driver for incredible dispersion and clarity
At the twist of a knob the complex crossover takes you from old school bass cab smoothness to uncompromising studio monitor accuracy
It's so sensitive you can gig with a 150W amp but it'll handle 800W amps without complaint for maximum output and headroom
