    Andy bought my Spector bass. Arranged an half way dodgy night time lay-by meet up to exchange merchandise and cash. Anyhow, a really top guy to deal with in every way. I highly recommend! Cheers and enjoy the bass 👍

    For sale is this beautiful Spector Euro 4LX. I seriously love this bass but it's too heavy now. Although it's only 4Kg my back starts playing up around about 3/4 of an hours playing. My lightweight Roscoe is much more back friendly so that's getting all the use at the moment. I'd more than happily keep it but I've just bought a lightweight ACG and I need to pay off the credit card! I bought the bass here late last year. Original listing below. Same great used condition. It's a bass that's been played but well looked after, I think it looks fantastic. Neck, frets and trussrod are all good. No issues at all. I replaced the input socket with a Switchcraft not long ago and everything electronic wise is spot on. It's the older TonePump without the gain trim and EMG's. Bass come with a case and good leather strap with the strap locks fitted. I don't have a suitable box so its collection only. I'd be happy to drive up to 70miles from Merseyside to meet/deliver. The price is firm, lees than what I paid and I'n not interested in any trades as I really do need to pay for my latest purchase.

    I wish my bloody feeble back was not so bloody feeble! That has to be the coolest Jazz bass out there. I wonder how much you'd pay for a factory 'relic' as good as that? Curse my useless back!

    I had one of these for a while that I bought off eBay. I was very impressed with it but only sold it to help fund a combo I was after at the time. I'm sorted for amps now otherwise I'd be after this as a backup.

    I bought this here last year and only lasted one rehearsal before going bang. 😪 Internal fuses and a cap blown as far as I know. Not bad condition, few scratches on the side. Price includes UK p&p.

    I'll remove the neck and see if there's any markings or stamps. I did take the neck off some time ago but I really can't remember if there was anything there as I was looking for the penciled date. Thanks for all your comments BTW.

    Why the tuners don't sit flush to the headstock is because of the way the peg is connected to the plate. I've fitted these types and to get them sitting flush I had to mark and drill out a small piece of the back of the headstock. My JV will have this type of tuner and there's obviously no provision made to get them to sit flat against the wood. It just don't look right to me but this is the only JV I've owned so I have no experience of them.

    The tuners don't bother me at all, it's just whether they are the original ones. Did your JVs tuners sit flush to the headstock? The weight of mine feels slightly heavier than 9lbs but not by much. It was lighter than my US ones though. Also, I remember playing on a white JV that was very light.
