  1. Bought a beautiful Fender case off Russ. Easy pain free transaction from a top BassChatter. Cheers! 👍
  2. Claire bought my PJB Micro7. Instant payment and great communications. First class. Cheers!
  3. Met up with Dan for some carpark dealings and now the proud owner of a cracking vintage Trace Elliot amp! Was my journey essential? When theres a Series 6 AH300 with a UV light at the end of it, it sure is!! Always a great guy to deal with. Many thanks
  4. Ashdown ABM EVOII UK made and in great overall condition with only a small scrape to the bottom edge at the back (and hardly noticeable) and a few other little nicks. All working fine. 500W @ 4 Ohms. Only selling as I had the opportunity to buy an excellent lightweight DR Bass cab to use with either my Trace or Markbass head, but if it doesn't sell I won't be too bothered as I really like the warm punchy sound that comes from it. I paid £180 for it which I thought was a bargain considering its condition but £160 seems the going rate during these depressing times. Collection only from St Helens (can meet up dependent on distance).
  5. For sale is my little PJB Micro 7. Bought new earlier this year when on furlough and only been used a few times but now surplice to requirements. I found the 50w output fine for home practice. Condition is excellent. Plenty of favourable reviews out there. Price includes UK postage.
  6. Sad times 😪 It's been getting on for 9 years since I played in anger but I still have gear gathering dust. Even after all that time I still can't let go even though I know that I'll probably never gig again, but you never know whats round the corner... Good luck Karl and best wishes!
  7. I never owned a 1x12 but I did own (and use together) a 1x15 and 4x10 Focus cabs. Both excellent and used with my MarkBass LM Tube 800 sounded fantastic. The single 15" on its own was a super little cab and sounded nothing like what you'd expect a 1x15 to sound like. It was as defined as a good quality 1x12 and I wish I had two of them for the smaller gigs as the were very lightweight and compact. The 4x10 was up there with the best of them IMO. This rig was my final gigging rig and because of financial hard times some years ago I had to sell up. I would recommend Genz Focus cabs to anybody as the sound and build quality is outstanding, however I've always rated the other Genz Benz cabs I've owned over the years so I may be a little biased.
  8. I can't believe that this is still here. I really must try and resist another short drive up the M6!
  9. Superb! I'm delighted that the cab will get some proper use and not just an ornament in the spare room as it was here.
  10. Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mr Travis (and his delightful daughters) this afternoon who bought my EBS cab. Could have chewed the fat on basses, amps and gigging for hours but I had to rush. I really hope the cab serves you well and gets some proper use when (hopefully) this Covid business has passed. Once again, thanks
  11. Very reluctantly putting my 1995 US Precision up for sale. Desperate times etc. But, should my Sandberg sell I'll be withdrawing this immediately. This is my perfect Precision, I absolutely love it. It's such a great player. The bass has a few dings and scratches, most notably on the front above the scratchplate. Nothing drastic for a 25yo used bass. Weight is around 4kg, I'll weigh it later and update the listing. The colour is cream/off white and the rosewood board is wonderfully dark. Frets, truss rod are fine and recently restrung with DR Pure Blues 45-105. A new KiOgon loom and pots fitted last month. The bass comes with a G&G Fender tweed case. Its seen better days but it dose the job and looks pretty cool. Price includes UK shipping
  12. I'm absolutely gutted to have to sell this but life has taken yet another dump on me and my finances are going to be really stretched. So its for sale only and not for trade. Sandberg California 2 VM4 in excellent condition. Theres a couple of small dinks to the lacquer on the back of the bass which are impossible to capture on my phones camera. The neck is slim and fast, more Jazz than Precision. Weight is a lovely 3.5Kg (7lbs 12oz) according the the kitchen scales. The build quality and finish is obviously outstanding, typical Sandberg in every way. Active/passive, 2 band EQ. New set of DR LowRider 45-105s fitted. Bass comes with the Sandberg gig bag. Price includes UK shipping (UPS). Can meet up/deliver within reasonable distance from Merseyside.
  13. I own exactly the same amp, my guilty little pleasure! I used to have pictures of these on my bedroom wall when I was a dorky teenager. These days my wife forbids such filth - Prude.
  14. Just been playing through my AMB EVO 2 combo which sounded absolutely superb with my Precision (with flats). Roll off the bass a bit, valve drive at 3/4 and one of the nicest Pbass sounds I've had. This is a great amp for £200!
  15. Out of interest I got a price for shipping, at least £55. Packing it up securely would be the issue.
  16. Needless to say, the cab didn't get shipped to Thailand.....
  17. And replied. Just to clarify. The cab is £220 collected. I can deliver locally (north west) at cost. I cannot ship this cab as I'm at work all day and unable to hand over to a courier. I have no suitable box and packaging plus I'd dread to think how much it would cost!
  18. £380 is a ridiculous price for a bass like this. I played it yesterday for a while as well as my US Precision and the Yamaha feels such a nicer, lighter and comfortable bass to play. The build quality and finish is excellent as you would expect from Yamaha. The neck is slimmer with a shallower profile which just feels so nice. I also put new DR Sunbeams on which really dose it justice. So I'm keeping it 😎
