1.
Still weekend and Sunday tickets available.
Can't recommend the Moffat bash enough, its a fab weekend. Even Mrs Bigthumb looks forward to it and she has no interest in basses what so ever, just the boozing!
2. Any idea as to what the wood is? Really like that.
3. Bob Glaubs have been the best Precision basses I've owned. The're faultless and I've have this over any US Fender any day. Just a pity I don't have 550
4. I've played a few of Jamie's basses which have been spot on. When I lived in Telford I was a regular visitor to his shop in Shifnal for numerous little repairs and setups. Never had any cause for complaint! I did see a guitar made for the Quo and it was lovely.
5. Only 9 weeks to go. (Not that I'm counting down the days you know)!
6. Never seen one of these before. New to me! Any experience of these out there? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fender-Zone-bass-maple-R-N-active-3-band-EQ-humbuckers-gold-hardware-/271737786086?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3f44d58ee6
7. Hohner B Bass. Looks a nice bit of kit. Only ever played a Hohner Jack many many years ago, never seen one of these in the flesh.
8. Its got one heck of a bridge! Hohner?
9. Recently acquired 2005 Stingray
10. Met up with Dan today for another of them shady motorway service station deals. Top guy to buy from and couldn't be happier with the bass and transaction. Cheers Dan!
11.
Back up for sale. Thanks for nothing zawader, not the way we do things on here pal.
FFS! Hope you get some deserved good luck your way Karl mate.
12. Bargain! But as I've just fitted a set of DR's to my Stingray I'll let somebody else take advantage.
13. Honeyburst looks lovely. Very tempting...

Sold

This really is a special bass, I should know and would love it back! Well worth the asking price.
15. Do like the colour but not the price! Thomann have some good prices on B-stock Gibsons. Worth a look maybe.
16.
I'll be there to filth up the proceedings with my dubious taste in basses as per usual. Sorry. Not sorry.
'Spose somebody has to spoil it! Just hope you'll be bringing a good selection of them ugly basses of yours for me to get my hands on!
17. Very much looking forward to it!
18. That is absolutely beautiful. Indeed the 'real Thumb'. Works of art IMO.
19.
It's easily as good as any MIM Fender of the same passive spec and it sounds - well as it should, loud and clear. I'd argue the neck feels better than my most recently owned MIM but that's IMHO. The finish is really nice if you like seeing the wood grain.
After owning one of these and a MiM Jazz, IMO the G&L was much, much nicer. Tempting at this price but I too am skint.
