2. Not mine or nowt to do with me. But come on! Enough of the hard sell 'eh? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Warwick-Streamer-Bas...=item43a6430e24
3. Bass now sold and soon on its way to Finland. Thanks for all the messages and offers. Paul
4. Due to a very unexpected bill I have to flog the Fortress. Its one of the first run of the Fortresses as it has the extra sculpting & cutaways. It has the super slim wenge pre volute neck. The EMG's are retro fitted and not original equipment. Its also has a D-Tuner. There's a few dinks and scratches most noticeably a chip (around 10mm) in the lacquer by the input jack. Its a bit of a shame as overall its a lovely bass but its not noticeable from the front and the strap would probably cover it up. Frets are great and the neck is proper Warwick quality and on Parr with Thumbs and Streamers. Weight wise its not particularly heavy as the body is ash (I think). Sound is very 'thumpy' and strong in the mids, roll back the EQ's and tinker with pup volumes and it dose a pretty good Precision thing! It has a Warwick strap and locks. I like the bass, its great fun but needs must so she has to go. I have a hard case so I'm happy to post it. I have a PayPay account if you cover the fees. Duff picture time. Any Q's please fire away
5. I have a set of MEC PJ passive pups sitting idle which came out of my '93 Fortress. Not bad condition at all. The silver/gold lettering is all but gone, as like my other Warwick pups. £35 posted anybody? If you need the pots that came out of the bass I'll chuck them in too. Cheers, Paul
6. Ha Ha! Just been looking at that.
7. Good call! Although I'd see a professional regarding them dreams!
8. I really think you should put it on ebay for what its really worth and you may have more luck. You never know! Standard Corvettes have sold for more than this and I know what I'd rather have. If I had the disposable cash I'd have had this when it were up for 500.
9. £415 is just silly for a bass like this!
10.
Dude, either you have a weird sense of humour, or you posted the wrong link
WTF!
11. Sold and EBS cab to Mark. Really easy no fuss transaction, an absolute pleasure! Many thanks.
12. Up for grabs is my Proline 4x10 cab. 800w 4Ohm. I wont be able to post it so It'll have to be collected or I could possibly meet up if its not too far. I dont have any pictures at the moment as the cameras batteries are flat so I'll try to put some up later. The cab is in very good condition with no issues at all apart from a bit of bobbling on the carpet and minor scuffs to the corners. It even has a fitted cover! Be quick! Cheers, Paul
13. Traded a small GRAMMA pad for a larger one and all was perfect! Cheers Ryan.
14. I Like the Fender. Never seen one like that before.
15.
Can anyone tell if this is German or newer Asian one?
According to their website a Thumb BO is made in Korea (never knew that). As this is the NT it'll be German then. It could go for a good price so yeah, definitely worth watching.
16. Maybe seller just wanted a jumper or some socks? Imagine the disappointment! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/warwick-4-string-thu...=item4156e5373e

18. Just stunning! Beautiful aren't they.
19. ^ What he said. Try and hold out for an older one as you'll be more used to the slimmer wenge neck. Lots are passive so don't expect the grunt you get with the EMG equipped Thumbs so maybe think about upgrades? Build quality is excellent and there's some really nice bubinga examples out there.
20. You forgot to mention that these have a gorgeously slim wenge neck much like the vintage stuff.
21.
Picked up this beauty on Saturday, May '90 Warwick Thumb NT Thumb, dream bass the almost quilted bubinga top is just stunning and looks different from every angle and the neck is just perfect! More pics to come when my internet connection stops refusing to upload!
Lovely, welcome to the club! Was that the one off ebay?? The bubinga looks exactly the same as on my one. Pictures can never do these basses any justice, you have to see them in the flesh to really appreciate them.
