1. From what you're saying in the OP I would look at Markbass gear. I think it would cover your tone requirements perfectly when using a 15" cab. Light weight too!
2. I used to use a TD650 with a Proline 2x12 and a Proline 4x10. For the venues I play this setup was a little overkill but it sounded (and looked) the biz! The 2x12 was probably my favourite EBS cab which was occasionally used with my Markbass 250w head which was a lovely combination. For most gigs now I use a Markbass F1 with my Proline 4x10 and this is plenty. I doubt that I would ever go back to using a large stack again.
3. Looking at the Warwick website the bass is a P nut III. I dont have a clue who P-Nut is and never heard of 311. Anyhow it also has a Seymour Duncan preamp which makes me wonder why Warwick would use these electronics? The older version used the MEC ones (like in my JazzMan). So are MEC pups and preamps crap and just not as good as SD? My other Warwicks have EMG's BTW.
4. I wonder how the Basslines pups compare to the MEC's?
5. I've sent a few basses out around Europe and interparcel are good. Also try parcel2go.com or parcel2ship.com as sometimes it may save you a few quid.
6. I've owned and used many ProLine cabs but never and Neo ones, though there have been a few times where I wish I had! I have been told by a few guys that have used both and they've said that they prefer the Prolines over the neos. I'd like to A/B some and see (hear) for myself.
7. I hate my visits to see Mark, well my bank balance dose! Happy Christmas mate and thanks for all your help and advice over the last year. Paul
8.
Bargain!!!
Too right! Exceptional and bombproof cabs these.
9. Oh my word thats lovely! Brian's a great guy to deal with BTW.
10. Again a painless transaction. Couldn't be happier!
11. If I had 500 notes I'd buy this just to stop the jokes! Lovely bass, bargain price and always fancied one of these but sadly skint.
12. I got my first Thumb bass a few years ago off ebay because I always fancied one. I'd never even seen one (in the flesh) before let alone played one and not long after buying it got myself an SS1. I gigged these basses lots but after some time I sold them and TBH I cannot think why. So After a couple of years of gigging various other basses I'm back on the Warwicks with this pair. 13. Met up with me with the same Genz Benz 6x10! Cheers Dave, great (big) cab.

Thanks for collecting the Aggie Dave, enjoy the cab!
15. Cheers again for the Aggie 2x10 Karl, was great to see you on Saturday.
16.

I'd love that fretless for obvious reasons John! Your old '87 Streamer is my main bass now. I used to own a '00 Streamer NT4 which was lovely but IMO the older ones certainly have the edge.
17. Really sorry to hear this Jamie The Markbass 6x10 cab is truly awesome!
18. Bad Warwick 'eh? Well I've owned a fair few and played on plenty more and I would struggle to find too many bad points. Although I'm not to keen on the 'pointy' ones!
19. Once again proves a great guy to deal with and smashing chap as well!
20. Due to unbearable vintage Warwick GAS I'm putting my Stingray up for sale. I would guess that its about 5-6 years old (it has the new type of nut if that helps) in very good condition and comes with a MusicMan case. Its fitted with a D-tuner thing but I do have the original should you want to return it to its original state. Not a huge amount to say about it really other than its a cracking bass and dose what a Stingray dose very well! The bass will be listed on fleabay this weekend (for a wee bit more than I'm asking here) as I really do need a quick(ish) sale. £650 seems a fair price. I would prefer to meet half way within reasonable distance although I will post if you arrange the courier. I've only got the one crappy picture at the moment. Any questions please PM asap before ebay gets it!
21.
Price Drop!
You'd be bloody mad not to buy this now!
22. Ohhhh I'd love this back Nathan and I have a GS112 for sale.... But I must resist and pay credit card off!
