1. Due to over stretching my finances I'm going to have to part with my Jazz bass. This is an 'A' series Squier from around, I guess 1985-86 ish. Its in not too bad nick with just a few small knocks and play ware, most noticeably a dink where the paint has come away on the bottom edge of the body roughly about 10mm. The pickups have been replaced with Wizard 64s and I doubt that the scratch plate is original. The body colour is very off white but the camera dosnt pick this up. So what with the 'mojo' (dont like that phrase either) it looks pretty vintage. The bass comes with a gig bag but I could also post it in a tatty old hard case. So there you go. I have to admit that I'm not sure what its worth £250 + P&P? Cheers, paul
2. Is there any Australians here who would say that this is a good price or not? I for one think its a bit OTT. Lets see if it sells or not.

4.
Just out of interest, whats the weight of these things?
Here's the details of the cab * Impedance: 6 ohms * Speaker size: 6 x 10" * Bass ports: rear * Tweeter: 1" compression driver with custom horn * Power Handling: 1200W RMS (AES Standard) * Crossover Frequency: 3.5kHz * Frequency Response: 45Hz to 20kHz * Sensitivity: 104 dB SPL * Weight: 71.18 lbs. * Dimensions: 23.4"W x 34.2"H x 18.9"D
5. The opportunity has arisen for me to get my originally desired rig of 2 x EBS 4x10 cabs so this baby has to go. I've owned it for about 6 weeks and I've done some gigs with it and its preformed outstandingly. The sound it kicks out is massive, reminding me of the Ampegs I used to use. The cab is practically unmarked with only scuff marks on the corner protectors. Going by its condition it looks like its had very little use. For a large(ish) cab its not too bad moving it about. It weighs in less than the EBS 4x10. There is also a new cover for the cab, one of them off ebay which cost over £50 but worth every penny. I paid £650 for it so I'll be looking for the same. I wont be interested in trades for amps/cabs, the only bass I'd be interested in would be a late/new US Precision. Postage is a bit of a no no but as ever I'll be happy to meet up within reasonable distance from Shropshire. I'll be happy to provide more pictures if required and iAMP800 not included! Cheers, Paul
6. This is such a great opportunity to own a true vintage refinished or not. £1500 is a steal! Do you take credit card or in need of any vital organs? :brow:
7. Thanks for the sale Nathan, great to see you! Cheers mate
8. 2x12 Sold Many thanks Nathan! BUMP for the 4x10
9. 2X12 on hold 4x10 still available at £325
10. Oh good God that's lovely! would somebody buy my speakers now as this baby has my name on it!
11.
PM'd
And replied. Both cabs still available for sale and trades.
12. Wow that's really strange as whenever I pick up my guitar I play really bad which makes my think it was previously owned by some old geezer that didnt have a clue! I also hum while playing but that's down to the lack of deodorant!
13. Probably pointless but BUMP anyway. As I'm more desperate for the space at the mo I'd be happy to trade them both for a bass with a value of around £600-£700
14. Tom, given the choice at a gig would you use the Cort or your old Overwater? I've played on more Corts than Overwaters, both good usable basses with a big difference in price but if I were given the choice the Cort would be gathering dust. There are excellent basses for 4-500 quid out there but I'm yet to find one with the 'WOW' factor. That certain something the bass has as soon as you pick it up. Incidentally I've been mostly gigging with a £250 Squier Jazz lately which is great but not that great!
15. BUMP (again ) Might be interested in an 8Ohm Markbass 2x10 trade.
16. BUMPAGE With 4x10 picture All sorted for cabs now
17. Bugger - that's lovely. The wait must be hell!
18. Still for sale sort of BUMP along with the Proline 4x10 (£350) as I'll be having a new cab coming soon.
19. I was thinking about going down the two 2x12 Schroeder route whit my EA head (which dose the 2ohm thing). I thought that the Schroeder's were supposed to be pretty deep? Not too sure now as I like it deep. I'd too be interested on some advice.
20.
Hi there Long time lurker to this forum, but decided to join. I love Motown, James Jamersons bass playing and Fender basses, not necessarily in that order!
A man of taste!
21. I have a Recurve on order and I must say that the wait is getting to me. But all good things etc. etc. They really are things of beauty so it'll all be worth it.
