    Every amp & cab I've used / owned has a different sound & the same can be said for the space that you play in. As has been stated in the post. ' For me finding a rig with the right kind of coloration of sound is far more desirable than being totally transparent ' That's kinda it. Research forums and get a rough vibe from folks that are on the same page as you ' tone wise '.

    I really like to look of these combos but the DI issue IMO is a problem. If you play in a few bands & mainly use backline or the same soundman, you could be fine with this setup. If you are a pro & play in a wide variety of settings then it's not gonna be great. Soundman will not be happy, if they are paying attention. Use a seperate DI box & problem solved.

    The other difference to the LM is that the Big Bang has an analogue pre amp but a digital power amp. I think it has the same digital power amp as the F1 / F500 range but they added an analogue pre to warm it up a little. The LM 500 watt versions are all analogue & do sound a bit ' softer ' than the tightness of the F1 / F500. Some people prefer one or the other. I really like the F1 over the LM but like the sound of my LM800, which also has a digital power amp section unlike the LM500 series. Think I got this info the right way round ? Hope this helps.

    I love my Vanderkley MNT112. Handles a lot of gigs on it's own. Really want to try out the TKS cabs though. Go check some stuff out, only you and your ears can decide.

    I was GASing for a Rumble 500 v3 combo but found out today that the master volume will affect the DI out. Can anyone confirm this please ?
