  1. That is and was the case as far as I'm aware.
  2. Any strap 4" (11cm) wide or wider will help. I've got a suede-lined Minotaur strap which spreads the weight and keeps the strap in place, no sliding.
  3. I know people who think the BBC is full of lefties and others who think they're a channel for Tory propaganda, so I'm guessing they're actually quite impartial.
  4. Mmm, yes. Could also get expensive if things didn't go according to plan...
  5. I believe statins can really have an adverse effect on one's health and I resisted taking them, even though my GP was adamant. I changed my diet instead and my CLs are well within safe limits now. One wonders why they're so widely available. Actually I don't wonder at all, but that's for another thread.
  6. This. You can never have too many DFA switches.
  7. Holy crap, we may even be able to search for things that are in thread texts instead of trying to search for stuff in titles, and still failing to find it!
  8. It could be blue, blue, electric blue - that's the colour of my room, where I will live. Blue, blue.
  9. His name is spelled with an upper-case 'D' in the feedback thread title, but his member name is spelt with a lower-case 'd' otherwise. That's probably why a search failed to find it. Ironically, because the search engine is working properly for the first time in ten years!
  10. Yeah, you have to be careful! We've got famous rock and pop stars on here and everything! Well OK, moderately famous. Within their niche genres. Let's say with a Wikipedia entry, then... ...Definitely not just bloody Martin Smith from Croydon!* *Apologies if anyone on the forum is just bloody Martin Smith from Croydon.
  11. Yes. He must have had some kind of religious conversion.
  12. This, particularly if the OP came up with it himself. He might consider registering it, before the band do.
  13. I'm certainly not offended, you *&%$£! Swanky hotel in Scunthorpe.
  14. Hey, is there no profanity filter now? Woo hoo! (Thinks of a rude sailor word).
  15. Yes that works, thanks. Though I'd like to have the option in PMs, too. Doesn't seem to be available in a Conversation.
  16. I'm missing this facility too - given that at least half my posts are self-deleted before they cause too much offence, it's quite important!
  17. Ha! Clever. And here was I thinking there were too many rules.
  18. Crikey that's a bit harsh, considering Farage is right up there with Hitler and Pol Pot!
  19. Occasionally I see an orange rule appear across the screen. What is it for, please?
  20. Best amp I've ever owned for pure power and tone that routinely sounded good in any situation was an Ampeg SVT-CL. Though technically 300W, it's 300 valve watts and is a beast. It's also a beast to carry. Even so, I wish I still owned it. The best amp I've ever owned for pure power and tone that routinely sounded good in any situation THAT CAN REASONABLY BE CARRIED by one person without bursting one's scrotum is the Gallien-Krueger MB500 Fusion, a fantastically versatile amp that I really, really, wish I hadn't sold. That is all.
  21. Price wasn't editable in the previous version...
  22. Thanks. Hadn't scrolled down to see the whole list. D'oh!
  23. Hey, your face isn't fat any more. Diet? Exercise? Or digital trickery?
