Sold Ian a P neck. Fast payment, great comms. He was even tolerant of the crappy courier service I arranged. Would deal with again, no problem.

10m (32.8ft) Speaker Cable - Neutrik Speakons 2X2.5mm I have no use for this very long (10m - 32.8ft) speaker cable, but perhaps you do.Fitted with two Neutrik Speakon connectors. As far as I can tell after advice from Dan Dare, I believe it to be 2-Core 2.5mm. Not sure what it's worth, so how about £18 via bank transfer including postage? I thank you!

I got three last time, gave one away and the other two are still working fine... looks like a gamble, but not much of one for £2. -
Another vote for the Fender Rumble combo, P bass and flats... very nice.

A band I was in 'supported' Squeeze at a festival in Blackheath about a hundred years ago.
I have to assume it's because the band all tuned to each other and not to, say, a tuning fork. It makes sense that this practice was more common before the days of cheap digital tuners.
Yes. Back in the day (ahem) there was always a piano somewhere at the venue and we'd all tune to that. Obviously the chances of it being at concert pitch were slim, in fact, they were rarely in tune with themselves. At that time it was considered acceptable to come on stage, spend five minutes tuning up, mumbling and otherwise faffing about before starting the first number. No slick stage routine or any of that. Yes, I know.

Yes, looks like a really good one. What I really like about HB basses are the necks, they're worth the money on their own, imho. My new HB PB-50 arrived with the bridge fitted a bit skewed, but as I swapped out the bridge anyway it wasn't much of an issue. Better stop now, if we make too much of a fuss everybody will want one and then the prices will go up... -
...OMFG it's just awful who chose that layout how do I subscribe to topics my old posts have been lost why can't I search for basses by colour in the marketplace I really used to like the old site this new one makes my eyes hurt the font is too small / big why do I have to pay to advertise where does the money go I expect Ped and Kiwi are rolling in it will they ever lift the stupid Rickenbacker ban it is with not inconsiderable regret that I shall be moving across to Talkbass it's all such a pain in the f**king arse and so unnecessary...
It's all because of Brexit, I expect.
Okay, my list of 'don't really get why they're so popular' or overrated - Rush Muse Coldplay The Cure Radiohead Nirvana Blur Pet Shop Boys
With you there, except for The Cure, who produced some very good songs. IMHO of course.
Jamerson & Pino. Not bad, but heavily overrated around here.
Pino not so much, but Jamerson is untouchable. Huge influence. Again, IMHO.
Think the concert you mention is probably Roy Orbison's 'A Black and White Night' . Bruce features quite a lot in it, notably on guitar (Ooby Dooby, Oh Pretty Woman etc) where he trades licks with the great James Burton, and also vocally ( Dream Baby, Uptown etc). Must admit a lot of it is quite err...'raw', but I like that - no autotune or fancy editing evident.
One of my favourite gigs ever. Bruce and T-Bone were great as I remember. It was E. Costello who let the side down in my opinion.
