1.

THAT'S IT!!
2. It looks like the silhouette of a dancing roast chicken. Either that or I need to change these meds.
3.
we haven't even received ours, and you're bored with yours? That's just rubbing it in
Yeah well, it's not all that - don't bother to open the envelope, just put it straight in the bin.
4. I'm bored with mine now. What are we going to buy next??
5.
Replaced my Roadworn P wiring with a kit from John, beautiful work once again, Sprague pacer 0.1uf cap, lushness!
Had the man himself replace my Road Worn P innards, I also have a Sprague Pacer 0.1uf cap and it is indeed lush!!
6.
Presumably she got a hernia in the process?
She obviously already had a thyroid problem.
7. I regularly gigged my Sue Ryder P (£60 I think it was) in a pro function band culminating in a New Year's Eve gig in the ballroom of the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. No-one batted an eyelid.
8. What about a dual-coil Jazz pickup? It would be humbucking but still fit into the existing rout. Something like a DiMarzio. http://www.dimarzio....tra-jazz-bridge Or a Bart, if you don't want to see pole pieces... https://www.bartolini.net/product/9j-l1/
9. Sold John my Diamond Comp. Super-fast payment, very smooth transaction and timely communications. Recommended!
10.
Broken. Already.
What, after all that waiting, you broke it?? Jesus H Christ!! That's a bit of bad luck, really... I think you must have got a duff one, mine was certainly robust enough to be used for the purpose. Edit: To switch on and off it's press and hold. Just a quick press does nowt, as you discovered.
11. If this is anything like my Limelight Stacker 60 relic then it will play superbly and sound amazing.
12. Sold Grant a bass. He paid super-quick and communications were timely. Very smooth transaction, would recommend without hesitation.
13. I felt how I would feel if I discovered a dead and festering Elk in Dulwich Park.
14. SOLD as of 7.15pm. Thanks for the interest.
15.
Am I the only bugger still waiting?
Don't worry - if it doesn't turn up you can have one of mine.
16. I got into the Beatles and Bob Marley and the Wailers at roughly the same time in the mid- to late seventies (mainly through the albums Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and the crossover Catch A Fire) and I'd say they had about the same cultural influence on my white, middle-class teenage self, i.e. they blew my little mind. So I'd have to vote for both - or neither. At the same time there was a reggae sampler album out called The Front Line that featured various artists - and through this I got into dub reggae, after being exposed to Burning Spear and the album Garvey's Ghost, the dub mix of Marcus Garvey. And that blew my little mind some more. If you want to know what reggae rhythm is really all about, listen to Garvey's Ghost. https://youtu.be/vrG0CnxJkuc
17.
The one I sent to my mate as a gift arrived today (he resides in Durham). Mine - which I ordered first - still hasn't
Did you put your location as B-Town? That may have confused the postal services...
18. I see the Reverb Clip-On Tuner is still available - only now it's £3.15 - plus, er... £11.03 shipping. https://reverb.com/item/204704-reverb-clip-on-tuner
19.
Back of that tuning plate looks a bit grubby, you should have ordered some brasso at the same time
That's top-quality Fender Road-Wear! On my Fender Road Worn!
20. All three of mine arrived this morning, had to sign for the package. The build quality isn't as good as my Snark - more plasticky and less rubbery - but overall not too bad. The battery cover is fiddly - FYI to undo it you have to turn it clockwise, which of course goes against years of knowing it should be the opposite. There is only one button - press to switch on, press again to toggle to your instrument of choice, 'B' being the obvious setting. In operation the tuner functions well and is accurate, or at least as accurate as my Snark, my Korg Clip and my FZone tuner pedal. I really like the colour LCD display and the 'clock-hand' pointer, which makes the actual tuning very easy. I also like the clip, which has a very strong spring. Too many clip-ons have weak springs. However I was unable to rotate the display to where I would have liked it (I prefer to mount the tuner behind the headstock), but using the thing on its side is no big hardship. In all I like it and it was definitely worth two quid - as of today anyway, if it suddenly goes tits-up I'll let you know.
21.
I have a very strong hankering for more Schroeder stuff, now, too...
I'm very happy with my Markbass/Barefaced rig, but so far the most interesting rig I've had was a G-K MB500 Fusion and a Schroeder 1212L. If you like growl, that particular combination growls like a bevy of bears at a growling party, and then some... this using a P Bass with flats! God knows what a very growly bass with rounds would have sounded like. Chuck Norris with a sore throat?
22.
I think there are too many "famous" people now, far more outlets and reality tv etc, being limited to four tv channels as a kid , three until I was 6 years old meant it was easier to know all the celebs of the time.
Ah, yes. Whatever happened to Rolf Harris? You don't see much of him on TV now, do you?
