1.
I believe it was Lemmy who said 'If it's too loud you're too old'.
He did, so no doubt I'm too old. But I'm not deaf. Thhp!
 2.
Minor technicality, but wouldn't that require purchase of a mirror (+extra?)
No, I was thinking you could cut the slot just above the bridge of your nose with a junior hacksaw, then you could view the plectrum directly. It would also be a useful talking point for those otherwise awkward dinners with the girlfriend's parents.
 3.
Start to play bass, and my world goes flipping bonkers!!
It happens. My world's been flipping bonkers for some time now.
 4. Better to have a slot cut into your own skull, then you can keep an eye on your plectrum at all times.
 5.
Just searched for a review of these having played through one at the studio where we rehearse and found yours. Spot on with your comments - I couldn't get over how loud it was! Got me thinking it has...
Thanks, but don't buy one on the strength of my review - you may be disappointed. Seriously though, they would be great at twice the price.
 6.
Hmm. Used mine last night rehearsing with my loud rock band. In that room with that band, with or without a BF Supercompact in the mix, I couldn't get a sound I liked out of it. Got my Trace Elliot out of the car, sorted. Need to try it elsewhere with other bands but my rose tinted specs are off now.
That's a great shame - now I'm filled with lumps of guilt for recommending it to you. But sound is very subjective though, of course... one man's pleasure is another man's lashing with a knotted rope... but just for the record I'm still loving my Rumble 500, so much so in fact I'm going to buy a Rumble 100 for smaller gigs/tighter stages. But then I'm not currently in a rock band. Though I have heard a Rumble in a rock environment and it sounded great. To my ears, anyway. The good news is, if the worst comes to the worst you shouldn't have too much trouble moving it on if it really doesn't suit you.
 7. I've never played a wrong note in my life, so I have no idea what you're all talking about.
 8.
Any experience with the five?
No, but dave_bass5 has one.
 9. My review is here.
 10.

Fantastic! Haven't seen him (or her) for ages!
 11. It's the worst thing I've ever seen.
 12.
And could it just be a baked-in resonance peak?
Mmmm, baked-in. Arrrgggggllle...
 13.
How can you say they're being turned around quickly? The obvious answer is that these guys are probably buying something else...
Quite, I had a TH350 for a while and it's a really cracking little amp. But I recently started a new project and needed something different. I would have preferred to keep the TH, but I can't afford to buy multiple rigs for every possible eventuality, it's strictly one in, one out.
 14. Ha, ha! 'B Stock'? I should think so. Shark attack, maybe? At least it'll be a lot lighter now.
 15.
Apologies discreet, my last comment was supposed to be a bit tongue in cheek.
Didn't mean to come across as disapproving, just an observation is all. I've joined a band that gigs a lot in London where the load-in is always a pain in the arse and one may have to leave the car some distance from the venue. I don't like unloading, parking and then walking back, too many opportunities for stuff to go walkies in the interim if people get distracted, which they do in that situation. Hence my recent respect for light gear. Pretty much anything gets heavy if you walk far enough carrying it.
 16.
Does it move when you plug a jack into it? That's the line I can't cross.
Erm, no. I was exaggerating slightly...
 17.
Soooo MB? Since I have the TH pedal?
Errrmmm... no.
 18.
I feel as if I had the TH pedal and TH head, the pedal maybe redundant?
I think so. Having had a Tone Hammer and a MB Little Mark I know which I'd choose.
 19.
Looks very pretty... and heavy...
I bet it's hefty, too.
 20.
...just putting things in another perspective for those who constantly defend the all mighty "heft".
I'll defend the almighty heft to my dying day, but you don't necessarily get it from all-valve amps exclusively. ...It's just a lot more likely, that's all.
 21. They're too light, people prefer amps that weigh around 12kg. Tone Hammers tend to blow away in the slightest breeze.
