Foundations are fantastic basses - the super ferrite pickups are HOT. Just too narrow a nut-width for me, unfortunately. But if this is something you can deal with then there are huge bargains out there to be had. The 91 Foundation I had briefly was light, balanced well, sounded great, and the one-piece maple neck was as good as anything you'll see. A classic USA-built proper pro bass for peanuts.

You're welcome mate, it just stopped off briefly at my place on its way home. Looks much happier in the proper company. I only have two P Basses me, but I'm working on the third...

Off the top of my head the RBI is two hundred quid's worth at least and I would imagine a QSC power amp to be a similar value if not more, so yes, a bargain.

Davie bought a Peavey bass from me. Super-fast payment and great comms, plus he was very tolerant of PorcelFarce taking their own sweet time delivering to Scotland over the Christmas holiday - which was annoying - but he was philosophical about it. At least they got it there in one piece. Enjoy the bass Davie and a happy new year.
