1.
I'd like a Bear-faced cab.
A polar bear? On a berg.
 2.
Gone now!
'This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available'. Which is code for 'This listing was ended by the seller because the bidding hadn't got anywhere near the price he wanted towards the end of the auction and he wasn't about to let it go for bugger-all'.
 3.
These are just a bit splendid. What to do?
I'll answer that with a question: When will you see another one up for sale?
 4.
I wonder what Brian May would make of it...
A guitar, probably.
 5.
The thing I like about the Paul McCartney conspiracy theory is that it dates from pre-internet times.
Ah yes, people had more time and more drugs on their hands.
 6.
I'm sure that I could, if necessary, out-snore and out-fart any neanderthal.
That's snoring and farting talk where I come from, pardner! (Western Europe, about 40,000 years ago)
 7. Er, yes... people tend to look different as they get older... You could compare a picture of me from 1976 and a picture from today and come to the sinister conclusion that somehow I've been replaced by an old fat bloke, but one with exactly the same bass-playing skills! Totally conclusive proof that I'm not the same person now as I was then. Which is true.
 8.
Pretty sure its illegal to be in possession of a dead badger in the UK. Reckon the judge would let you off though as he'll not want to set a precedence which means he'll not be allowed one himself.
That's paw show. And don't you mean 'sett a precedent'..?
 9.
Must have made its eyes water when they inserted the loop.
Yes, I bet it was bristling with anger.
 10. Well that's the thing isn't it? I was toying with the idea of buying one on spec from Thomann. They have a pretty good returns policy if needed.
 11.
Something made with an otter - isn't that what tarka dal is?
I don't know. It's not a simple black-and-white issue.
You can pick up a reusable water otter from argos
Is that the one with the Ring Of Bright Water?
 12.
I’m thinking the Bugera BVV300...
Yes, get one so you can let us know what it's like. There was a flurry of derision when these appeared (they'll be crap, they'll break down, they're essentially Behringer, and so on), but that was several years ago now and there have been few if any horror stories about unreliability, etc. And you don't see them up for sale second-hand either, which tells you something. They are an SVT CL clone and sound the part, apparently. And a lot cheaper to buy. And are self-biasing, though I don't know if that's a thing or a gimmick or what. Nice cab, by the way.
 13.
Your collection is nothing without a theremin built into a badger.
Yes, it's certainly a must(elidae)-have for the discerning naturalist/musician. However, I'd like one made with an otter. Who's going to make me an otter I can re-use?
 14.
So, with all these Talmans soon to arrive, somebody is going to tell me if they think a Fender neck will fit. right?
Yes, but according to the spec they are 62mm at the last fret, as darren said. Will confirm asap. http://www.ibanez.co...=124&color=CL01
 15. Ooh, nice! The GAS is building like a pressure-cooker!!
 16. I posted this almost exactly a year ago. I still have the cab but not the amp. What does that tell you? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/245432-new-cab-day-schroeder-21012l/
 17. Schroeder 21012L

2 X 10" Neo Drivers
1 X 12" Neo Driver mounted on angled baffle
200W Tweeter with adjustable Attenuator
1 X Speakon and 1 X 6.3mm Jack Inputs
1000W RMS @ 4ohms
49lb (22kg)
23.5 X 23.5 X 16" (60 X 60 X 40 cm)
18.
Thomann has a decent returns policy though and I'm really happy I took the plunge.
Decided I don't need a backup bass now, but at this price... what the hell!
If I paid attention to negative reviews, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be playing most of the basses I do
Quite. Or buying anything at all, really. I think a lot of negative product reviews are down to people being idiots and not understanding how things work. I've read negative bass reviews complaining about neck relief, action, strings, etc - issues that are the responsibility of the player/purchaser, imho. It's a bit like complaining about a pair of trousers that you couldn't walk in - turns out you had both legs down one trouser-hole. There, I said 'trouser-hole'. Deal with it and get on with your day.
 19. Someone please buy this or I'll have to! Even though I already have one!
 20.
You're climbing stairs. Every so often you find yourself on a landing. Then you start going up stairs again.
Good analogy - it's like the progress of evolution - which is not a gradual upwards curve over time, but a flat horizontal line interspersed with radical vertical jumps.
 21. In short, If you don't already have one of these, you need to buy this now. Will fill any size room with bass. Amazing cabs.
