Drummers who keep changing the beat during the song

Or a rehearsal. Recordings are good for highlighting a problem - it usually becomes obvious. However if it's not obvious to the, ah... perpetrator, it may have to be 'you are the weakest link - goodbye'. -

It also helps if you can both count. It's surprising how many people can't. Apparently. -

OMG, that was you?? I remember we had a spirited discussion on partialism before adjourning to the orangery for Swarfega and cling-film play. Small world! -

I bet he did, too. So many failed musicians take up drums - because how hard can it be? It's just hitting stuff, right..? Like those bass guitar reviews that begin: 'I'm really a guitarist, but...' Next! -

Every day I thank God I'm currently in a band with a truly great pro drummer who has perfect timing, can tune his drums, sounds fantastic AND can do what he does quietly when necessary. He's a nice chap, too. Apologies if this is annoying. But I've played with my share of crap drummers over the years. I deserve this! -
Only one ellipsis please.

Yes! You've got the hang of it now...

It's not a full stop, it's an ellipsis.

Cover versions of songs with discomforting lyrics

That's what rock 'n' roll is all about. There's enough bland, generic and inoffensive music out there to choose from, if that's your thing. -

*SOLD* Alan Entwistle JBX Jazz Bass Pickup Entwistle 'JBX' Jazz Bass pickup (Ceramic) Neck position pickup. Eight hard nickel pole pieces in a stressed field ceramic magnet base for extra power and definition. Not all good pickups have to have AlNiCo or Neo magnets, folks... it's all in the design and construction. These are powerful, punchy Jazz pickups. Have a listen here. Used and gigged in a Jazz bass. Two neck pups are available - one cover is a little scuffed (see pic) but you can't see it when fitted. Both are in very good working order.. £10 posted for one pickup. Paypal or Bank Transfer. I thank you.

I've bought and sold a fair few. I like the look and sound, but the narrow nut width is my stumbling block. Yes, I could fit a P neck I suppose. Best Jazz I had was a Sire V7 Marcus Miller. Growled like a bear and had a very nice 7.25" radius rosewood board. Should have kept it But at heart I'm not really happy unless I've got a big handful of P Bass...
