1. We'll need extensive pics and audio, please! Nice!
 2.
Nice description!
I wish it were do-able, I could certainly handle a shedful of God-cuddles about now!
 3.
Those rare Squires are highly sort after...
There's a Squier-specific forum! Gah!! http://www.squier-talk.com/forum/squier-bass-place/
 4.
Depressingly, that's about 90% BC-stylee 'n all.
Phonetically they're identical... unless you pronounce it SKWEE-ER.
 5.
Vintage and rare, vintage and rare, wave your Squiers in the air like you just don't care
Well that's more likely - and less rude.
 6.
I didn't say "I bet they've got sweaty conkers"...
Yes! Yes you did, just then! Thp!
 7.
I actually agree with Discreet...
Well don't sound so surprised about it.
 8. How about... Vintage and rare, vintage and rare, go together like pubic and hair..?
 9.
Tee hee, you don't change do you?
I was going to make a joke about changing my pants but I think I've gone quite far enough today already...
 10.
If only I had a husband, so he could have the pleasure of wearing a similar T-shirt while humping my combo up and down stairs. Not a euphemism! Not a euphemism! :-0.
Shell, if we didn't live in different cities I'd be happy to hump your combo up and down the stairs all day long.
 11.
Rare & vintage, rare & vintage, go together like a ... like a ... like something that rhymes with "vintage".
Squinted? Appendage? Inches?
 12.
I've no idea where they were made, but the pickups in my '63 J sounded incredible - far better than any other J I've owned. And I've owned a lot...
Same with my Limelight Jazz. These things are subjective of course, but it had an incredible sound in my humble opinion. Now there's another bass I'd like to get back... hmm...
 13.
...not a teapot, nor fetish gear, nor a genuine lock of Herman Goerring's hair, nor a biscuit tin full of elephant droppings, nor a live badger in a Pringles tube...
That's a shame, you could have added a crate of vodka and a kilo of coke to that list and had yourself quite a party.
 14.
...sweating conkers at the moment...
It's inevitable as the weather gets warmer.
 15.
I've got the rare word, in my ad for the Spector but only because I believe it is Discreet told me, honest.
A non-LX Euro4 IS a rare bass - in the context of other Spector basses.
 16.
"Rare" is the new "Lawsuit" on ebay..
I suppose either is better than "L@@K! L@@K! L@@K!"
 17.
I don't know who Jaco is.
Hooray!
 18. No Squier is 'rare' - with the possible exception of the early JV series. But as Fender make the most mass-produced bass guitar in history, any talk of rarity or scarcity is relative, really. My Hayman 4040 is 'rare', but my 76 P Bass is surely not.
 19. It annoys me when people say, 'If only I had the cash for this..!' But... if only I had the cash for this!
 20.
I play about 50/50 pick vs finger style.
That's a key point - if you're not proficient with both then you're missing out on a large range of 'tones', imho.
 21.
Observe the capacitor banks in this (iNuke): http://www.hometheat...-22_855xxxx.jpg It won't kick out much power for long with that lack of storage, surely? If it's putting out bass for extended frequencies, they'll get depleted and then it's down to the power supply to cope. Compare that even to a Powersoft amp and observe Powersoft's neat arrangement of many capacitor banks: http://www.zaj.hu/ke...ge/dsc02852.jpg
Quite a remarkable difference between those two pics. I'm not technical in any way so don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that component difference could also represent the difference in price between those two products? You get the impression the iNUKE would run OK, but at the same level of output the PowerSoft amp would be far less stressed. something like that?
 22. Woah! I thought my bass GAS was under control!! That is absolutely stunning! I bet it plays like a big, warm cuddle from God!
 23.
I gather he winds his own pickups. I do know they have a great, vintage sound
Yes, his pickups sound (and look) 100% 'authentic' if you want to call it that...
