It's a bit 'control freak' if you ask me, but then it's not my forum. And I get most things off my chest by wandering about in the nude, shouting at traffic. However the idea that one shouldn't use certain words in the English language (also known as 'swearing') because it might offend teenagers is frankly risible. Most teenagers I come into contact with (including my son) swear freely at all times and have quite an impressive vocabulary of the profane...

These can be got cheap, but £44 is a real steal. They are great amps, too. Mucho HEFT! In all possible ways.

I'm guessing that will be around 8-1/2lbs. The first pic looks a lot like my RW Fiesta Red P, but obviously it's redder and more metallic-y than that. Really nice bass, I can just imagine how it plays and sounds. Limelight GAS! Again!!

It is still just your opinion. But if any actual 'science' has been done, I'd be happy to see a link. On the 'chronology' point, what I meant was that pickup design and placement has much more bearing on tone than neck and body 'resonance'.

Either it's your opinion or it's scientifically sensible... Claiming body wood or finish affects tone is extraordinary in my view, so I'll need to see some extraordinary evidence to support that view before I change my mind. I've certainly never heard any difference in tone after refinishing a bass. Saying body and neck resonance comes before pickup choice and placement in the production of tone is risible. Simply changing strings will have a much more pronounced effect on tone than any wood or finish choice. In my humble opinion. Which in this case I'm posting as fact.
