Do you need something to iron your clothes on ?

Or it could have been a bizarre ironing accident. -

He might have a few enemies if that scar is anything to go by. -
I've had a J&D Jazz and it was very playable for the money. Just my 2p.

*SOLD* OBBM Speaker Cable - 2 RA Speakon 35cm Why put up with the usual yards of excess speaker cable flapping about behind your rig? And why have you got regular Speakon plugs when RA (Right-Angled) plugs would give you crucial extra space on tight stages? The cool and trendy solution to the problem you never knew you had is here! If your tiny Class 'D' amp is atop an equally tiny cab, use this tiny cable to keep things neat and tidy. Overall length is 35cm (about 13.75 inches). And it's less kit to transport too - nowadways even a few grammes can make the difference and this will fit in your gig back or even your back pocket! I'm after just £16 (including postage) preferably via bank transfer. Cable has had little use (ha!) and is in good condition. Item will be sent via an appropriate method and an ETA and tracking information sent to the buyer via PM. My feedback is in my sig. Here it is connecting a G-K MB200 amp to a Barefaced One10. Here it is relaxing after a hard day's, er... linking an amp to a cab: Here's a close-up of one end: Er... here's a close-up of the other end (was this really necessary? Ed). Now SOLD. I thank you!

Better have yourself thrown down the stairs as well, for good measure. -

Yes! It would go along the lines of, 'You all right?' 'Can't complain. You?' 'Yeah'. Both stare at floor. -

Just my own experience of course, but generally those I've met with KIT ONE were inevitably much better drummers than the ones I met with KIT TWO. Not that I've ever met anyone with ALL of KIT TWO, but you know what I mean... -
Could you perform your current role on a Squier Bass ?
discreet replied to lojo's topic in General Discussion
Erm... I dont buy this at all. You're implying that users of Squier or Fender-type basses are all cloth-eared root and fifth plodders. You can be subtle and inventive on any bass - you don't need a seven-string ironing board to be nuanced and intricate. That is entirely down to the player. IMHO, etc. -

Very good! If it's a series six it'll say so on the front. I'd love to use an extension cab with mine, but just the combo on its own is at the limit of what I'm prepared to haul. I'm not getting any younger you know and it used to be all fields round here. -

My current amp is a Trace 300W 7215 Series Six combo (1993). Yes it's heavy, but it sounds totally amazing and it's punchy as fook. I'M GOING BACK IN TIME!! WOOOO!* *Cue creepy theremin music with lots of reverb. Woo! -

Nope. Anyway, Limelight aren't just any old basses. -

What, the inlaid mother of pearl butterfly? Tricky... I'm impressed by your cynicism. -

Quite, it's disgraceful. I won't stand for it - I'll just stick a Fender logo on any old bass. -

I was going to be a smartarse and post a video of him playing a Sire bass at a gig, but I can't find one. -

A Squier bass..? Eeeh, I dream of a Squier bass. My current go-to bass is a modded Harley Benton P strung with La Bellas. It sounds bloody great and is comfy as a pair of old slippers. Not that I play old slippers, or even wear them, but you know what I mean... Nice to see all the Squier love. But it's pretty much the same as Fender love, imho. What next..? Shall I start a thread on whether you could perform your current role with a 1990 Peavey TNT 160 Combo..?? -
I'm guessing that marathon may just have been 'chemically assisted'..?

To be honest I did see Elvis Costello and the Attractions at Glastonbury once - they played for more than three hours and were highly entertaining - so there are exceptions...

Eight years!?? This has to stop, he's extracting the urine big time!! Mind you, even if he buys an amp you'll probably end up carting it around. D'oh!!
