I got one from effectspowersupplies - their shop- yesterday. It really is as good as it seems. I'd given up on finding a filter that I really liked and it turns the m82 is that filter for me! Richard warned me whilst I was there that those that try it buy it, and he was right!

according to the MXR / dunlop rep, there won't be any in this country until at least november, and the retail will be in the region of £180! They wonder why so many people buy from the states!?!

the only problem i find with changing the position you play relative to the beat is that with an inexperienced drummist, they end up either speeding up or slowing thinking that they are behind or ahead - whichever is appropriate!

i have the mxr 6 band - great size wise, but balancing the on/off signal is a bit of a challenge, i also have the boss - dependable, solid, good frequency choices there's the Chord one, same pretty much as the GLX mentioned above - almost identical to the boss, but i got mine new for £20. but the best i have is the Trace one. 18v power, preset shape and slider activation switches, a beautiful sounding eq - meaning i love what it does to my sound with the two sections combined

Been gassing for one of these for ages. Just waiting for one at the right price sounds absolutely huge through a decent rig with the sound set just perfectly. I thought I was the only one!
