  1. the parameters are fixed. It's all in the manual
  2. The Marshall vba and DBS 7400 will run a 2 ohm load with no issues I use two 4 ohm Marshall cabs and either a hartke lh500 or Marshall 7200 DBS head (which need a maximum 4 ohm load) with a cable that runs the cabs in what was described to me as series parallel. Apparently the heads 'sees' a load of something around 6 ohms. This is what my amp tech tells me!
  3. I still use mine, but with an exP pedal. Set to modes 10&11, I get some really great swell/ sweeps

  10. Just like yourself, I have never managed to get anything more than an ok sound from a trace unit. They have always sounded sterile and bland to me. I appreciate that's what some people are after, but for me - no thanks.
  11. HB Neilb! at least you can trust someone to get you something you really want!
  12. chord bod 50 Bass big muff can get drivey source audio bass dist any drive pedal with an ls2 or similar!
  13. having been to their showroom, i saw a coule of instruments with either necl leds or the lit scratchplates. The finish on the plates was ok, but I saw a couple of basses with the led dots lifting from the neck. I was tempted when i saw them online, but after this, i think id pay the extra and go to SIMS. Other people's experiences may be better than mine, and this was a couple of years ago, so things may be drastically different by now.
  14. smooth and easy transaction - a thoroughly pleasant chap to deal with The Seymour PUP sounds 'kin excellent!
  15. Raulduke - Thanks for the offer mate, but i'm not really after fuzziness. My 'driven' sounds are totally sorted. Mr Foxen - Again, thanks for the offer, but i already have a drivemaster, and the blue box didn't wow me with a bass If there are any non pedal bits anyone would like to 'put on the table', i might be tempted Just as a heads up, if these don't get traded soon, I already have received an offer on the VT. (I'm not trying to elicit any more, just being honest here!), and i will move into selling mode!
