1. Hi interested in a couple of these - but forum rules say you should give a price if they are for sale.
2. Having played the amp in the stompbox shop, it's a fantastic piece of kit. It sounds tight, punchy, versatile, and generally pretty awesome. If fundage was better, i'd be thinking on this for smaller understated gigs over my Marshall 8x10 stack!
3. Give Richard at effects power suplies.com a call. He's a very knowledgeable chap and always keen to help. http://www.effectpowersupplies.com/power-supplies-8-c.asp
4. speaking as someone who lives in gravesend, i would just like to say that not everyone in this place is as execrable as this sorry excuse for a bass player.
5. generally speaking i enjoy my deans trememndously. the necks are usually very comfortable, and the passive pick ups sound great i have two active instruments that get a lot of use, and three passive basses. All in all though i think Dean are really great value for money, with some great styling, and altogether very versatile. Don't let some of the funny shapes put you off!!!
6. would you consider a straight sale?
7. do you have any pics of the lights?
8. Cable for my X2 arrived safely, and perfctly made! you're a star dude! Cheers
9. for cost effective fuzziness, the Bass big muff can't be beaten really. as far as envelope filters go, there are so many variations around the theme it's staggering!
10. if you are looking for a qotsa type sound - the tech 21 vt bass will get you close to Nick Oliveri's sound, although i see you have ampeg gear already! wah wise there are what i would class as prime candidates (Dunlop 105Q, Morley dual bass wah, and Ibanez weeping demon) in terms of mass produced choices, and plenty of more boutique options. really it's a case of try as many as you can and then make your decision based on what your ears tell you. you tube offers lots of clips of these in action, which might give you some idea where to start.
11. just wanted to say that we made it to the shop today, and found Richard to be a great person to deal with. the shop is well worth checking out. the pedal lines he carries at the moment are well worth the trip, let alone those soon to be arriving! I'll certainly be heading out there again before too long - once the coffers are refilled a bit!
12. i see it's a tramp - the amp or....
13. top dude! just bought his X2 great comms, friendly chap. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again
14. Jacklondon - That board looks great. where did you get the sound reactive light from? Is it your design? I hope you're getting well paid for that board!
15. great stuff Richard we're looking to pop up on monday. what are your hours? cheers
16. ibanez weeping demon. probably the one of the most adjustable mass produced wahs on the market. switching manually or automatic, switching delay (on auto setting), adjustable treadle tension, volume, Q, Bass level etc... good with guitar, but awesome with bass. best of all it retails at about £110 well worth a good try.
17. the lpb is not a clean boost. it definitely adds something to your tone. Whether you like that or not is totally subjective. the mxr i mentioned earlier is stil probably your best bet if a clean boost is what you're after. They come up regularly on ebay as well as on forums such as this. It's not unusual to find one secondhand for about £40 or perhaps less. Where the LPB can be found new for around £30, it comes back to the colouration issue.
18. here is one of mine that i find works well for me in a mix. vol to suit blend 10 ish trigger full on gate in gain also 10 the eq for me is bass 1 - 1:30, mid 2:30 ish, and treble 1 ish. i also find that just using the clean channel with some boost in the mids works wonders when you dig in. hope this helps
19. that sounds like it might the one! Cheers

Address, postcode etc. ? unfortunately, there isn't any info on the EPS website, and going to fxpedal.co.uk just takes you to the EPS site. Help me please!!!!!
