These cabs are in my opinion very loud for there size, I have read on here that some people find one enough for a small gig, I have never tried as I only play at home. I always found that 1/4 volume was more than enough at home. In-fact my neighbours also thought it was more than enough too !!! As for trades I am looking for another Ashdown VS 112 cab

For Sale. Squier vintage modified telecaster bass special in black.£200 with UK mainland delivery or £175 collected from Bournemouth. These are a very nice bass. This is the two pickup version, I have replaced the original scratch plate with a black pearl scratch plate, I still have the original white scratch plate and this will be sold with the bass. The bass is currently fitted with a fresh set of rotosound truebass black tape wound strings and will be sold with these fitted and the original round wound strings will also be included

Alternatives to velcro on a pedal? Also a good chorus pedal?
spaners replied to TheMissWolfiee's topic in Effects
I went shopping for a chorus pedal yesterday. Tried quiet a few. EHX NEO CLONE, EHX STEREO ELECTRIC MISTRESS, MXR MICRO CORUS, MXR ANALOG CHORUS & FENDER COMPETITION SERIES CHORUS. I ended up getting the Neo clone. great sound, simple, no volume loss and the cheapest ! and price was not a consideration. IT just sounded the best plain and simple. If you must have the MXR analog chorus there £85 quid from absolute music. The neo clone was only £46 -
Go n try a lot of gear. But take your own bass. The TC. BH500 head n cab deals are worth a look. For metal you should look forsomthing that can handle drop tuning and that needs lots of extra power.

Let me know how it sounds, can't find one to go n try at mo. Got the 12 n its sweat with my mustang but hankering for a pair of 15s
-
Yea that will work fine.

[sup]2 x 8ohm cabs will give you a 4ohm load so you link the head from the 4 ohm jack to the first cab n the first cab to the second cab[/sup]

I got myself an Ashdown VS112 today from Acadamy of sound in stoke. Ex artist (second hand) as new for £99 to go with my CTM 15. Sounds very sweat with it, better than it dose with my TC RS112. Not as loud n a lot heavyer! Around 20kg I would gess. So now I'm looking for another. HIGHLY recommended
